So the FAs would recommend investments? What if you don't want to invest? What if all you want is someone to direct you in how to better handle your money?
Would they dismiss you because they won't be making as much off you?

You can see a FA even if only just to get pointers. They shouldn't turn you away because you are not "READY" or "WANT" to invest at this time. FA shouldn't turn you away because you aren't or won't invest in product(s) that will not allow them their "percentage".
