Would they dismiss you because they won't be making as much off you?

You can see a FA even if only just to get pointers. They shouldn't turn you away because you are not "READY" or "WANT" to invest at this time. FA shouldn't turn you away because you aren't or won't invest in product(s) that will not allow them their "percentage".
