Jesus himself said it I am not a prophet, I am the Messiah.

Islam said after the prophet Jesus came the prophet Muhammed the last prophet of God.

Jesus said no, he is the word of God, the first and the last.

Don't you see both positions cannot be true.
1. Either Jesus is the Messiah and Muhammed is not a prophet. or
2. Muhammed is the last prophet and Jesus is not Messiah. or
3. Muhammed is the last prophet of allah and Jesus is the Messiah of God, which means if both are right. then

Jesus is a liar, and there are two gods.So scratch Jesus God because if Jesus lies his God also lies because he said he and his father is one.
So we are left with one God Allah.

Or finally Jesus is the truth as he claims, Jesus is the Messiah as everybody and their mother - except maybe you claim - and somebody else is lying!!!!!. I smell brimstone.

There's only two major religions who serve the same God, the Jews and the christians.

Salvation is of the Jews. We worship after the manner of the patriarchs of Old, the God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. From which arose the Jewish people.

Do you think the Arabs would worship the God of the Jews?

For one the so-called war of arab against jew is bogus.
The so-called jews were place in stolen land after WWII.
Those are not even the real Jews,they come from a group called Kazars.
Just like how the birth rite was stolen in the bible these so-called jews stole the birth-rite of another ppl and have the whole world believing it belongs to them. They even have the very ppl who they stole it from fooled.

If the modern Jews are fooling anybody they are fooling themselves.

Throughout history they have been persecuted for believing as they do, for living as they do, for eating as they do, for dressing as they do and for worshipping as they do.

For a people who are willing to die to hold onto a rock solid faith in their God, their traditions and their culture is commendable for if you are willing to die for something, who am I to say you have not proven you are worth being called what you are willing to die for.

Except for their noses and hair many Jews can pass for caucasians. Its not like you and me who everybody can see is black. (well speaking for myself). They who can pass for white choose to suffer as Jews.

If that not being a Jew then what is?

i completely agree, with you. i have a question, is your family christian? because i feel the way you do and my family is christian and they always ask do u want to go to church and i have no interest in it, but its hard for me to tell them look im not a christian and i never will be one. you have any advise for a sucka for their family like me?

My grandmother is evangelical born again (big time!), my dad is "whatever," my mom shares my views, but she is not Rasta. The other side of the family is Seventh Day Adventist (also big time).

I have been to many kinds of churches as a visitor, but usually something turns me off at some point during the service. I find my "salvation" at a good conscious session!

But to answer your question, if I'm invited to church and I'd rather not go, a polite "no thank you" is enough. I don't think you owe anyone an explanation of your lifestyle. If I am asked, I might share some Rasta info but I am not a recruiter. I am comfortable wid mi outlandish self. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Couldn't have said it better myself. As long as you start with a FOUNDATION of love and respect and honor, then you are on the righteous path. There is only one God and regardless of what we call him, as long as we stay close to the right path we will be together in that place we call heaven.

Who has been more persecuted than out ppl?

Those Jews have never been in slavery.
The real jews who know not themeselves were put into slavery time and time again for their dis obediance to God.

look to the example of Jesus if u want to see Rasta...my greatest pet peeve has been the disrespect that so called purveyors of rasta and the music show to women...call them queens while treating them like chattle and sperm receptacles...

I admire your honesty. You are not christian and making no claims to as to what a christian should be.

Thats not the general rule I find.

What is amusing is that those not christian try to justify their unbelief by insinuating christians are not real christians, or by mixing up everything they feel should be christian and calling it christian, some 'one pot mash potato religious jargon' like 'once I do what's right and love anyone then that makes me alright with God' jumbo.

There's only one god that sees that lifestyle as alright and that god is called the 'great Dragon'.

But so many people create this pseudoreligion 'that I can do my own thing and God will accept anything I do' that it has become a norm and draws more converts daily.

Call it uncollective guilt, "the nobody is answerable to anybody else doctrine," that is also not true of a christian. We are accountable to God yes but we are also accountable to our faith to live a life befitting our calling.

While King David was repentant and in Psalms he claimed to have sinned only against God, that is, it was a private sin between him and God.

Psalms 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest

God saw it however having public implications note what the Prophet Nathan said to David.

Everybody is affected by sin, there is no private effect. Adam sinned and the whole world was cursed for it. Sin contaminates everyone.

That's why we need christians in the mix, for God was willing to spare the entire city of Sodom and Gomorrah could he find but ten righteous living there.

What I would like to see in here is 'true' discourse.

But it appears even non-christians prefer to bend the truth to make their sins look 'not too bad'.

I thought only christians (hypocrites) do this.

I guess even though we like to deny it each one of us is born with a God conciousness, and it makes liars out of us when we know we are not in his will.
