You know this for sure? Seeing all that I have seen and knowing all that I know I seriously doubt it. (((Simple Man))) no insult intended please understand that I am a Jamaican and I love my country but it has some serious problems where healthcare is concerned and soft soaping the problems and refusing to call an ace and ace will not solve them either. You take a visit to some of those hospitals and you come back and tell me with a serious face that you believe that that every bit of blood donated is handled with the utmost care and under the strictest standards and then I will believe you. Trust me worst have happen but we have not heard peep bout it. I stand on my gound that God allowed this to happen for a reason and a good one. It is always unfortunate when the innocent have to suffer so that more innocent won't have to die, but truth be told it didn't have to happen that way in the first place if key people were doing their jobs.
Namely the Jamaican government and the Mimistry of Health.

Go tell it on the mountains, "negligence" is now a diagnosis, a disease in and of itself. Stupidity as usual. Mr. Calf sometimes it is bettr to say nothing than to go into the asylum to talk with the inmates. You will get nothing but indicipherable babble.

You know what it is a tough proposition especially when we would rather walk around with rose colored glasses on. How many have born suffering so that we might have a better existence? Was it God's original plan for mankind? No. Whose fault is it that we suffer so much? God? Well let's just back up to the healthcare system in Jamaica. Where are all the dollars that Jamaica has borrowed from other countries? And what percentage of the per capita income yearly is spend on assuring proper healthcare to it's citizenry. Wait! don't even go that far, how much would it cost to institute proper testing of blood and blood products so that folks could recieve transfusions without risking contracting aids. You know how much? Not much at all because the only thing needed was to take one extra step and test every sample for the HIV virus, just like blood is tested for any other disease once the disease can be identified which they already have the capability of doing.

If it was one of my children would I be angry with God for making her the victim that would probably shine a light into a dark corner of Jamaica? Is that what you are asking? To really deal with how *I* would feel on the subject of God's soveriegnty you would have to be able to accept what I believe about God's absolute sovereignty, which we already know that you won't so I won't even attempt to go into it.

On the other hand would I be outraged at a the system that through negligence and improper management many including my child will die? to be sure. Has this incident brought light to the need for overdue reforms in the management and delivery of care to the sick in Jamaica? it most definitely has. Question is how many more will die before something is done about it,? Or better yet how many of the silent by reason of ignorance have already died? Only God really knows. Will God allow many more to die, until those in government take heed? Let's face it, before this happened they knew that the system needed serious repair, but they neglected to do anything about it. Are these the ways God acts to bring about radical change? Check your bible and your history books. Yes He is the same God kind and benevolent but who does not take pleasure in wickedness. Why must some suffer needlessly while all the time the problems were there begging for solution and men knew this and knew what measures to take to solve the problem? When will man take responsibility for his own actions and stop blaming God. In short the two people here are really the victims of negligent homicide at the hands of a negligent government. [/qb]

Okay let's start here:
Yes He is responsible for creating all things. Then He placed man in charge of taking care of them with specific instructions on how to live.
Now He lead these people Himself but they wanted to govern themselves, so He allowed them to govern themselves and instructed them to obey the laws which He gave them to live by both the governed and the governors. The rest is history.
