Well in actual fact you are right on the money love even though you may not understand the full implications of that verse but it is just right. And btw. when things happen like that I always say you didn't say it but God said it through your mouth.

As I mentioned, in the context of the discussion the verse was very appropriate, and as Jedi noted, fear is one of the the things that causes most people to not take risks. I take from the verse however that God has given us a well-balanced mind, boldness, and self-discipline so that we can properly assess what is happening around us, and make the right choices based on informed and well thought out perspectives. Once we do this, change seems far less intimidating.
