And we are off.
Took so long to get to Chicago, I could have rode this guy. I took a large pic of him with us to give to Lonny who made him. Lonny works down in the craft market near the bridge.

Needless to say, he got a kick out of seeing his turtle 4 years later! Well fed and rested!!

A quick cab ride to the Airport

Where is everyone???? They turn off the lights, time for a nap..

We wake up, get our tickets and wait

And wait and wait.. We have a 6am flight, that they just said isn't going anywhere soon. Need to have a part flown in from who knows where. And we sit. Some lady keeps lookin my way. I wink, smile, blow her kisses, Comb mi hair (one left). She got a body guard. I wink, blow kisses, he gives mi the finger. Ohhhh. It;s Suzi from the board. Hi Sue We talk, and talk, eat and eat (free Micky'D's) due to the delay. Finally, after 4 hours we are off to Sunny Jamaica!
Thru customs, and out the back door. Suzi finds her ride first and says she will meet us there, in Negril. There is our driver waiting (chicken) in his new """BIG"" van/camper kind of. Seats 20 people, we are only 4, so we have lots of room. What a nice ride. If anyone needs a big bus, write for his number. He has some bills to pay now. And into Negril we go. The sun is going down
when we get home. We hurry and change, take showers, and make it to the beach. And there is Suzi at the bar at Hidden Paridise, partying down. Wasted no time. We say hi and go give the beach a kiss. Off to Kuyaba's, I'm in heaven again.



The next morn we awake, and there is mi yard

Stopped at the WhislingBird to see Geo, but he ain't here, but his bottle is





All days are spent doing nothing and everything, Been here done that, but it's a ball doing it again and again. So the rest is just pics of what we did and saw.

One day was spent looking for the blow holes. Got lost looking, but found this place instead.

The next Morn we are off to the beach again going to the craft market.


We make it back to our room just before it rains, and rains, Say Downpour with me!!!


It rains for about 2 hours, the sun comes out, and a new day starts!! Made it out to eat and back home. We all sit around the veranda smoking and joking. Night time falls apon us, and off we go looking for some peanut soup. I haven't found the guy yet, I ask around, soon come everyone says. And there he is. I looked and looked for the guy. Didn't find him till 3 or 4 days later. So I find his cart. Go ask if he had the peanut soup, and his kid say no chicken feet. I didn't think much of what he was saying, so I waited for the Soup Guy and ask him. He says yea, peanut soup. So I ordered and went home. Eat eat eat, clunk, sometin hard. Dig it out and there be the foot. Now I don't care if it's a chicken foot, a horses huff or a dogs paw, I Don't care for footed soup. So the next few days were spent searching for a new soup guy. And I found one.. His name is Zarro and has the best damn soup on the island. He has a shop to sell it in town, and a cart at night at the turn around. So I'm in heaven now!!!!! He is a for sure stop everyday we are there..Make it back home and head for bed

Darn! I msut have missed the winks. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] Please tell me that my "body guard" (my son) did not give you the finger. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] I'ld be surprised if he had the energy to use his hands for anything but eating and eating and more eating while we waited. Still can't beleive we never got a sleepy group photo at the airport. I know there is a way to download my camera to the computer so will have to figure out how and I can post my photos too. Mine are mostly sunsets (can't enough of them) and my "family".
