Oh girl...you are telling it all. All of our little secrets from our wonderful trip!!!
I've finally decided to let you know what a great job you are doing telling the world!!!
You've got me on the edge of my seat and I WAS THERE!!! I am just wondering how much you are going to let the world know!!!
Great job, I am having trouble remembering all the details and what happened on what day, etc. But I think you are doing pretty good so far....
Keep it up! You are bringing back some pretty intense memories and feelings girl...in us all!!

Danielle.....THE DANIELLE?????????? Girl you cut up sideways in Jamaica (I've never been more proud).
Danielle I sure am glad to see you take your girlfriend's trip report in good humor. I recently posted one and did not even use the person's real name, but first she started by making me pull her pictures off the report, then she came over and had me delete certain text, then she came over one evening and just cursed me out, so I had Sienna and Magic just delete the whole trip report just like it never happened.
Heck we don't know you and probably never will, but I really have enjoyed reading this report. I thank you all so much for sharing this with us.
Your girlfriend is doing one excellent job of it I must say.

Which is why I am not going to write any more, either. I enjoyed reliving my time in Jamaica last summer with Marilyn, but I've noticed that not everyone can read a report and just let it be...

Today is the day we planned to go to Dunn’s River Falls with Anthony. We change into swimsuits and shorts and head downstairs for breakfast. As part of our $20 “deal”, we have to bring Anthony and his boat captains breakfast and beers. So the three of us go back for “seconds”, hit the bar and bring it to the boat with us. There is Anthony and his two captains, and the three of us. They start up the boat and we are on our way. Smokey, the one driving, pulls out a big bag of ganja and he starts smoking a spliff. And another. And another. And another. I look at him, can he actually drive this thing, I don’t even think his eyes are open. We pass by some places where movies were made, we are shown an area with a waterfall running into the ocean where a part of How Stella Got Her Groove Back was filmed. On the way there, Anthony is cozying up to Danielle. He is holding a towel up in front of them like a curtain and is trying to kiss her. Oh yeah, that’s not obvious at all.

They dock the boat, we put on watershoes and walk up on the beach. There it is. The falls are much more beautiful in real life than I’ve seen in pictures. Anthony takes Danielle’s hand, Smoky takes Olivia’s and the other takes mine. We climb, taking pictures along the way. The climb is much higher than I thought. I’m getting really tired of my guide’s one liners. “I’m looking for a wife like you”. He tells me he is a Jamaican actor, flies to a lot of islands to film movies. He says he is the DJ in How Stella Got Her Groove Back, (I checked when I got home it was NOT him). We walked back down and returned to the boat. Stopped somewhere and did some snorkeling. Anthony and Danielle were floating around holding hands. My guide sees that and tries to grab my hand too. I give him the “drop dead” look and he decides against it. Olivia stays in the boat because she didn’t care for snorkeling last time. We finish up and head back to the Grande. I get to drive the boat all the way back. Hmm…maybe I can do this for a living and stay here.

My guide is saying “Free jet ski for you, because I like you. Discount for your friends”. No thanks. We get back to the resort and have lunch then lay out on the beach. We hear a faint call coming from the water. We here it again. Someone is calling Danielle. We squint and see Anthony way far out. He calls again and tells her to swim out. The security guard yells out at him and motions for Anthony to go away. Danielle swims out to see him anyway. What time is it? 2:00. Think I’ll go upstairs and start getting ready. “Olivia can you……..” “Yeah yeah I’ll do your hair”. I grin at her “Thanks! You’re a good friend”.

4:00 – Ring. Ring. I answer the phone “Hello”? “I’ve been missing you”. He says without even saying hello. My stomach does a flipflop. “I missed you”. I say. He asks “Are you ready to come out”? I respond “Yep, are you leaving now”? He says “Yes, I’ll see you in about half an hour. I can’t wait to see you”. He is so good at that. I skip downstairs and see him casually leaning on the fence. He does that curved smile thing again. How can he always be so self-assured and I’m always a wreck inside. He holds my hand as soon as I approach him. “Just so you know - I lied. I AM mad at you. Do you know that I had a terrible time last night because I waited for you the whole night”. He stands behind me, wraps his arms around my waist and rests his chin on my shoulder. He nudges me to start walking with him behind. He says “Aaghh. Don’t be vexed with me” There’s that breathe on my neck again. Then he says “You know, I’ve never touched anything more beautiful in all the 32 years of my life. For reeeaal ”. He knows all the right lines.

We continue to walk around. We go to some of the same places we did yesterday, things are starting to look more familiar. We pass by the clock and turn onto James Street. We pass Jack Ruby’s restaurant, then the Roofe Club and turn into a sort of alley. I’m getting kind of used to walking through the “ghetto” now. We are at the Marine View hotel and we play pool. I say “I hope you’re not going to feel bad about getting beat by a girl”. He laughs “You’re going to lose because you’re boasting”. I win. We leave and go to the Juici Patti place. We get a couple of patties, walk across the street and sit down by the clock. I’m watching the people go by and all the traffic, there is so much honking. We finish up our patties, and head to the supermarket again to buy some fruit. We walk back onto James Street and go to a little rum shop across the street from the Roofe Club. He pulls up two chairs, goes inside the shop and buys himself a Red Stripe and me a Rum Cream. It is dark outside now, there is music playing from the street. The song is Enrique Iglesias “Hero” and he starts singing it to me. I laugh, he sings terribly. We talk about a lot of things, he tells me about how tough it is to live in Jamaica. He shows me his knuckles that are all scraped up from the bleach from washing his clothes by hand. For some reason I’m feeling guilty since here I am living the life of luxury on vacation. An old Jamaican man walks by, stops in front of us, and holds his fingers in a square like it is a camera. He pretends to take our picture. “What a good looking couple” he says. We laugh. We sit in silence and listen to the music. He then turns to me and says “You know I want to take you home and make love to you”. How do I even respond to that?? I say “No I can’t go to your house. If I go there something is going to happen and I don’t want it to”. OK. So I’d make a bad lawyer. He probably wasn’t thinking, Yeah, you’re right. Good point. He finishes, his Red Stripe, I have a half bottle Rum Cream left. He notices and asks “Why didn’t you finish your drink”? “For good reason”. I say. He laughs and says “You’re something else”.

We walk upstairs to Strawberry’s. It is only about 9:30 now so there are not many people inside. We are standing by the window looking outside and he turns my chin to him and starts to kiss me. I cannot get enough of his kisses, he is kissing me so passionately and I forget we’re in the middle of the club. He pulls away suddenly and is pulling me across the bar and we are heading downstairs. Now I am the one going “Whaaa”??? I ask him “Where are we going”? “My place” he says. “No we’re not, I told you I’m not going to you’re…..” A cab stops, the door opens and before I know it I am in the cab and we are leaving. As the cab is driving away I tell him “I can’t go to your place”! He says “Don’t worry, we’re not going to do anything you don’t want to do. I promise”. OH MY GOD. How is this happening. What if he really is a horrible person and has been fooling me all this time. God, I know I’ve been asking you this a lot lately, but please don’t let me be killed. He sees my face and shakes his head. “Don’t worry so much”. He takes my hand and kisses it. I’m watching out the window to see where we are going. We are way far from where we started now. We are starting to head up a hill, it is very narrow and steep. We go up that hill for a good mile. I’m going to be killed for sure. I’m thinking, if I have to run, I don’t even know which way is back to the hotel. I wonder what his place looks like? I’m picturing one of those little shacks with no windows and doors that you pass by on the way from the airport to Ochi. The car stops and we get out in front of a big white house. He says this is his aunt’s house, we’re going to go inside and say hi to his family. We walk upstairs and there is little girl who is 10 years old that opens the door. He says that is his cousin. I look inside, it is nice. There is dining room table as soon as you walk in, a wall unit along the back wall and a computer in the corner. His brother walks by, and he introduces me. He then takes my hand and leads me down the stairs. We walk a short distance through the yard. It is dark but I can make out that we are on a cliff. He sees me looking and says “That’s fern gully down there”. We continue walking and in the yard there is a building of 3 rooms. We get to his door, he opens it. I peer in. There is a double bed, a wall unit with a t.v., two vcr’s, a stereo, and he’s got speakers hooked up to the ceiling. It’s cozy. I breathe a sigh of relief. I walk in and sit up on the bed against the wall. He closes the door and sits up beside me. He turns on the t.v. and flips some channels. We watch a reggae channel and chitchat. Ok, I’m feeling more comfortable now. I lay down, prop the pillow under my head and watch t.v. He has the remote for his stereo and has turned it on. He turns the t.v. off and now it is dark. He turns up Celine real loud and it’s either vibrating in my chest, or my heart is beating like crazy.

He lays his head on my stomach and just looks at me. He says “I am so weak for you”. And he continues to look at me so intently for about another 30 seconds. I am looking at him. I feel myself breathing faster. He is kissing me so softly, he has the most unbelievable kisses and I can feel my heart pounding. My hand is touching his wall and I feel the music vibrations. His hands, are moving up and down my arms and down my sides – it is like electricity and I cannot even believe how good this feels. He has MAGIC hands I swear. I feel the button on my jeans open, I try to move his hand away, he is kissing my neck and then says “You can’t stop your feelings, I know you feel what I’m feeling…..” I can’t deny it. Never in my entire life have a felt the way I do at this very moment. I turn my head and catch a glimpse out of his window. It is lightning outside and the sky lights up, I see the palm trees blowing in the wind in his yard, and it is starting to rain. Mother Nature, you’ve got to be kidding me. I think, I’m so far away from home….and I am the one that is weak.

Of course I want to know how life is for you now? being back home. When is your next trip back and have you stayted in touch with Paul?

Oh MY GOD....Oh MY GOD. I am breathless, speechless and my blood pressure is up!!!!!! Lord help me WHAT A TRIP REPORT. I can just hear the people dropping dead who thought MY trip reports were too hot!!!!!!!!!
Prepare yourself, they just haven't found your report yet. I for one lOVE IT.. I MEAN LOVE IT...
