welll, don't think I'll be doin a report - I can't keep track of anything while i'm on holiday, certainly can't stop to keep a journal or anything - it's jus too much to put it all into words. I have great respect for those who have it together enuf to do so, but, I'm a strictly go-with-the-flow kinda chick, we never planned anything, just went with whatever happened at the moment.
And then there's the part about discretion.... dunt know if I want my (and my Negril companions) biz all over the internet. I know for a fact my buddy from the country doesn't want anything mentioned in public bout him at all cept in a very general way - he only even let us take his photos so we could take them back to my sis in the states who is his fiancee. And he's not even my love interest! hehehe
We had a lot of fun and only a likkel trouble - I had to get up in someone's face the very first night at Alfred's cause he was WAY outta line with my friend; all the boys on the beach stood back and watched me go off, and it worked-the guy went away and none of his boys gave him any props atall, he started his muttering, lookin for male support, but they all just let him go and said "Later!". After that I got my respeck and the rest of the week was awesome. Altho they all musta thought I was a crazy woman after my likkel display of temper - except for one who really liked me after that, guess facety women are just his type! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] hehehe, and that would be where the love interest (and the discretion) comes in!
We didn't do hardly anything we went for - no layin on the beach, no nice sunsets, no clubbin/dancin late into the night, no good reggae music other than Cd's; Tyrone Taylor at MiYard was exquisite, but only thing we heard live was the dopey tourist kind, not very satisfying.
We DID eat lots of killer food, heard hiphop EVERYWHERE, even with our dread friends in the country, (cracked us up no end too, Nelly, Biggie & Tupac all over JA, we love it though so it was all good), walked all over the West End, played dominoes & went to bingo parties, hiked no less than four rivers and falls, had a wild and fun glass bottom boat tour with Alberto - it wasn't atall the relaxing beach holiday we expected, but we had more exhausting fun than we ever thought possible and, of course, can't wait to do it all again.
Oh Magic, I just saw your photo at Sienna's. I have whimpered and begged on here repeatedly for someone to send me a photo of Sienna with blonde hair and gotten no response. And then to open your trip report and see her there bold as day with her Guinness and cig and little sexy open blouse and looking cute as ever when I was expecting this poor emaciated, exhausted creature, oh what a wonderful surprise!!!!

Just a word of caution: You can stand there for landings without danger, but move away for departures since you'll be jet-blasted into the sea.
Ooo...ahhhh. Had to be loud to get those shots though! Hey you should be proud - I actually remembered to thank the pilot for the great take off (my favorite part of flying), ride, and landing on our trip to Negril, as I shook hands. See you can teach an old dog new tricks! Thanks!
