So, the name of the place on the cliffs is Pirate's Cave? Thanks Sienna/George!! It looks beautiful. Do they have a restaurant onsite? Why don't they have a website or advertise?

Hi,Liz -- those are the new standard rates for MB with us and with A and A. You just happened to get lucky and get in early when rates where lower.
Note that there are now also discounts for 2 or 3 rooms should a group of friends want to stay. There's also a 4th room, slightly smaller than the main 3 which rents for a tad less. Regardless, it doesn't get much better than this at US$99 off season/US$149 high season for two, incl.breakfast.

Hmm...in TB it does.

We have a hard and fast "under $100 a night" rule for our trips...still I can understand them raising the rates, they're probably getting busy (note to self, stop telling people about my favorite places....)

If I discover a wonderful place, I want everyone to enjoy the place. Mar Blue IS a special place.
But how many will take that long expensive drive from MoBay?
If you want a split trip, like I just did, the travel is $2-250.+ the room++food,most people wont do that.

Hikaru was my special place in TB, It's very expensive, to really enjoy the place it takes a weeks booking.
Mar Blue is less expensive, If it fits into your trip plans, It's a wonderful quiet start to any vacation.

My trips are on odd dates, I don't feel I will get shut out.

The cottage is popular NOW! I wouldn't want to stay there for a full week; its to small for 2, and in the summer it will be to hot;no AC.
If I get it for 2-3 nights that's good for me.

Beach House Villas has a unit, The Tree top Jungle house, that is less than $100. That's a good value.
The same is true for Mar Blue,price is right, the area is quiet ,after 2-3 nights I need some night life.The Mild than the Wild. .

I like to dream. Although the reality of the situation is that this will never happen. Maybe someday 10 years from now she will knock on my door. I don't know.
She has a JOB, never had that.
Has a passport, never had that.
Has a bank account,never had that.
Is raising her son,was sort of doing that. She's really smart, worked over my laptop like a nerd.
Stranger things have happened in my life. For now, I'm looking forward to December 17th, when I see her again.

Great trip report GC. Amazing how wonderful TB, Negril, and everyone in the picture seem to fit a "puzzle of paradise". Thanks for sharing and I do hope that you get to return soon for another wonderful tour.

TB seem well on the way of becoming a central tourist destination. Post any 4 sale sign for lands that you may see next time. I'm thinking of purchasing land there where I too may construct my little shed in the shade of paradise... [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
