OK, apparently like everyone else, I have no idea what the answer is. Since this seems to be a process of elimination, I will add that it is not Bluefields, at least the part I have been to (not the public beach).

But before this thread goes away, I am curious about how ppl. identify coral in this photo. Q????

oh just in case I was right, I came across Half Moon Beach the first time when I was riding the bicycle I hauled to Negril a few years ago one early morning, the place was deserted, but I went ahead and was exploring anyway! Right outside Negril in Hanover on the seaside, and this looks so much like the spot I was sitting in not that long ago to the right of the hammocks...LOL..I get an A for effort nah true?

M, the shoals just a few metres out where the water seems to get jagged and slightly darker, like where sea weed grows.
Much farther out the blue signifies depth.
