I'm looking forward to your trip report, as for posting photos, try this...

GO TO ONE OF THE PHOTOS THAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR ALBUM, LEFT CLICK ON IT AND IT WILL TURN BIG. NOW RIGHT CLICK ON THE LARGE PHOTO, AND A BOX WILL POP UP, GO TO THE BOTTOM AND LEFT CLICK ON PROPERTIES, NOW HIGHT LITE THE http ADDRESS (http---------jpg) it will turn blue, now right click on the blue adress and click on copy. It is now copyied to your memory. Now go to the board, click on image, a box will pop up, right click on the open spot and click on paste, and then click on OK. Now click on preview post to see what you have

Yes, thanks to you and others, we had a great time in Jamaica. Should I do dialogue with the pics? I will have them back next week and queenb told me how to download them. Hope I have some good ones to use.

Creaturecatcher so u did get affected by the taxi strike and th epower outage and down computer at the airport.. My daughter got caught in it too and did not get to her destination untill the next day..She was going to Tampa Fl and she had to stay overnight in Miami.
Hope you did not have to wait in line long like she did.

Thanks for caring. No, we made it to the airport before the long lines formed. It paid off to be there early. It was a bit eerie going into a dark bathroom in a foreign place, but I survived.
I think the outage was related to the roadblocks.
Where do you live - in JA or the states?

It sounds like you had a great time in JA! Regarding bargains between Christmas and New Year's; Good Luck.. I often travel during the school vacation weeks and don't usually find bargains. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] However, I'm so determined to go that I usually just bite the bullet with the high airfare and try to make up for it by paying a bit less for lodging. Actually though, I did get a decently priced package one year through US Airways Vacations.

Would love to hear any details you care to share on Rose Hall Beach too.

I thought Rose Hall Beach had the best reef in that area. I guess you could have found one better, but it was so neat seeing the living things I had taught about in science class. I saw brain coral, fan coral,
sea cucumbers, sea urchins, wrasse, and other fish. The fish were small, but for someone who almost drowned when she was little, I fearfully swam in 14 foot of water, and could see so much. It was an awesome experience I will never forget. I can't wait to go back. We swam with one diver, just the two of us; it was so neat not to be in a big group, and for only $25 US. Call Rodney or Sharon Davis and tell them they were recommended. Rodney even picked us up at our hotel and his drivers had just picked up some divers - we just missed that ride when we called. If we had waited until the next day, it would have been raining, and rough waves. I was truly blessed.
They are on the Internet: Cool Aqua Water Sports. They have the contract with the Ritz and the Wyndham.

Thanks Nan! I keep reading positive things about the snorkeling there and am dying to check it our when I ever spend a few days around Mo'Bay. BTW, I know what you mean about being fearful in the water. One time while snorkeling off the Negril cliffs, the reef dropped off quite a ways. I had to come up for a minute as my fear of heights got the best of me!

hi just read your post and whated to know where you stayed. because me and friends are going there in aug and was looking for a good place to stay. can you or anyone and give up some ideas.we will be going to mobay and hope to have a good time. i really dont like to swim but walking on the beach will be fine with us.
