Negril lodgings w/kitchen(ette)?

hi y'all-

i know this topic has been discussed a million times but i can't seem to find what i need in the archives....please humor me, golly I jus caan seem to concentrate now that mi know mi soon going!!! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Anybody remember offhand any places that have kitchens or kitchenettes? Something along the lines of Lily Mae's (that is, real cheap!!!).... ain't too picky, hot water would be nice but not absolutely necessary, same with A/C (altho it would be nice in july, eh?!)

Well,just to name a few:
Golden Sunset - Beach Rd
Seascape - Beach Rd
Coral Seas Garden - Beach Rd
Fun Holiday - Beach
Travellers - Beach
Cotton Tree - West End
Hilltop Villas - West End
Bungalo - Beach Rd

Too tired to think of others now but these are all under $60 I believe during the summer months. Well, except, I don't know what Fun Holiday is going for as far as kitchenettes but I am sure Karin will pop online. There are others out there but we were searching in the $55 and under category. Hope this will at least give you a start.

Try Golden Sunset. It's cheaper if a local gets it for you so you can get the local rate.

sistacaf, I have stayed at Golden Sunset as well and love it! Csn't compare it to the others as I haven't atayed at them but would definitely stay there, and will, again.

yes, well, yuh know mi love Lily Mae's and Miss Juanita, but well, it just warn't quite, umm, private enough. We'd like a proper place to cook together, yuh know - jus us.

Yuh know, las time I bathed mostly down at the beach pipe cause i neva could get my hair wash in that teeensy trickle o'watah! Not very romantic! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Might well wind up there again as i'm not gawn know til i reach where i'm gonna wind up. But wanted to check out more possibilities too.

Hey Sis. The last time we were there, we put in a new shower head,(upstairs) so the pressure is a bit better. But when they do get low pressure, it is pretty much that way in the surrounding area. If your looking for privacy, try the little room up top off the kitchen. Laura and I like it alot for just two people.

Getting a little antsy here, I want to go back so bad. Miss everyone down there so much. Our second Family!!!

Tigress II has kitchens/kitchettes. The longer you stay, the cheaper it is.

Can't promise consistent water pressure though. I think some rooms have A/C, but I did just fine with a fan.

Not luxury accommodations, but it doesn't sound like you require that anyway.

yep M, yuh got that right, if luxury is what i wanted i'd never get to go anywhere! But actually I do prefer local style, easy and uncomplicated. Can't stand fancy foofy business. Must say i DO like to bathe though! hehe [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
