and wanted to share some of the pictures and adventures. I'm not as good as others with a dialog and also my first time with uploading pictures (tonks QueenB [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] ) but I'll do my best.... We stayed at White Sands on the garden side (room G18, I recomend it) you have some wonderful views of the Mountains and sunrises. So let me work on this and I'll get back....

The first day or so it rained quite a bit so we sat around the porch and down at the bar drinking Red Stripes....
We did some walking on the beach the water was a little rough the first few days but was wonderful by day 3. I love the work of the local wood artists, saved my $ to get a bigger one this time.
This is what I ended up buying...
On our 4th day there we hired Benson to take us up to the mountains for the day. I had always wanted to go up there and see the lush green plants and meet the people, boy am I glad I finally got to do it. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] We left around 9AM not sure exactly where we were (neither did Benson half the time I think [img]/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] ) but ended up Near Mayfield Falls and came back through Little London and the cliffs got back around 3 3:30.
This is my favorite of the cane workers...

Nope this was my 5th trip to Negril, 2nd time staying @ White Sands. The trip was awsome as always, I can't wait to go back. I have tons more pictures I think I took around 150, not sure how many is too many to post.Originally posted by ohliz:

OMG - you're timing is perfect! Here I was sitting around feeling so blue that I'm not there and look - you've posted a report with pictures. And even better - pictures of places I haven't seen yet! You're a life saver. Lovin every minute of the report along with the pictures.

OK you want more you get more. This was not my first time at White Sands, this was my second time there. I personally like it but I don't stay in the room a whole lot. We walk the beach go on outings or lay out allot. We also found ourselves mesmerized by the mountains and would sit out on the balcony and look at them. Here are some more pictures from our drive. God how I love this place.......
How could you not love to wake up to this every morning.....

The lighthouse is in Negril, up in the cliff area just ask a driver they will know where to take you. Enjoy your trip, I can't wait to go back...Originally posted by Hushbaby:
