Thursday morning..
We all wake up, another beautiful day. Wow, It's Thursday, we all talk about how fast the week has been going. We decide to venture off the property and check out some of the craft markets where all the "tourists" shop. Maybe we can find some souveniers of our holiday?
We get ready, have some breakfast, go for a quick workout at the gym - now working out at the gym in Jamaica is absolutely horrible, I am amazed people can even stand the absolute heat, and humidity. They insist that the facility has air conditioning, but I am not convinced. We are all sticky, sweaty and exhausted within 20 minutes. We can't even breathe when we are at the gym. The equipment is all rusted because of the heat and humidity...it's amazing how we can goto the gym back home for hours, but here we only last for a half an hour! I guess that's ok though, we don't want to waste too much of our precious time!
We go back to the room to get ready. Today the heat is very intense, almost unbearable. We put up our hair, throw on some tank tops and shorts and exit the property. This is the first time we actually walk off the property, unescorted. We are all a little uneasy, as we are not too sure what to expect. We have all been told of stories of locals harrasing tourists, etc. but we decide we will not go too far. As we are walking past the security building of our resort, sure enough we are approached by numerous locals offering to take us on tours or whatever we would like to do. I remember one young man in particular, he was not bad looking and approached us with a nice smile, he wanted to take us "beautiful ladies" to the "real jamaica". He was pretty convincing with his good looks and nice smile, but we opted to go on our own, he looked dissappointed, but said maybe we would change our minds later. He gave us his card, and I laugh when I look at it, even today. It says "will meet your every need and desire, anytime, anywhere."
We passed around the card and got a good laugh, it's amazing what the men in Jamaica are willing and able to do, and for anyone!
Well, we made it off the propery, we walked through the streets and looked at some shops. I was looking for a bathing suit, I figured I was in a tropical resort, there should be some different suits here, but I wasn't able to find anything that was worth purchasing. Olivia and Dolly were complaining of the heat, they were sweating and were getting tired. We wandered around the craft market, where we were approached by all of the people selling their goods. Some of them were a little pushy,we politely looked at their items and bought a few things.
We were approached a few times by some ganja sellers, and Olivia made a deal with one of them. She was determined to get a feel of the "real Jamaica" in her own way. We took some pictures with a rasta man, we gave him a few dollars and he asked us to mail a letter for him, and to send us a copy of the pics we had taken.
As we were heading back to the resort, we saw the nasty american guy walk towards us, I just thought "Oh know", but he just gave us a bit of a smaile and walked by, THANK GOD!!
I was feeling better now, my fears of the other night had now subsided and I was back into being more and more comfortable.
When we got back to the resort grounds, the young man approached us again, and began telling us what a wonderful time we would have with him, yeah, I'm sure!
Olivia stayed back and chatted with him, while Dolly and I really need to get a drink and freshen up, so we slowly walked back to the resort, looking over our shoulders at Olivia getting cozy with the guy at the gate, hoping she wouldn't do anything we wouldn't do...

Back at the Grande, we walk around the resort for a bit, we grab a drink and see the cute bartenders. We walk though another section of the resort, and there I see this man, I have seen him before, I think once at Margaritaville, but now I see him at MY resort. He is VERY good looking. Tall, dark, great body. I can't help but stare at him, he glances my way, I look away, I give Dolly at tap and nod my head in his direction. She smiles approvingly. He sits down at the bar. I decide it's time for another drink. We take a seat at the bar, and he looks our way. He smiles and says "Hi, how are you?" I melt, he is sooo attractive. I answer him and say we are doing great, we talk for a bit, and the bartenders say they saw us the previous night at Margaritaville and asked if we had a good time or not. Dolly gets this great idea to take some pictures (so we can remember these amazing men we met) so we start snapping away. Before you know it we are sitting on top of the bar, surrounded by a few hot men. No wonder they call this place paradise, what else can you ask for? Well, after another drink, we leave, I say good-bye to my new friend (whose name was Mike)and he says he hopes to see us again (I sure hope so too) I can't believe this guy has got me toungue tied and shy, I feel like I am a teenager again, what's wrong with me?
Olivia, Dolly and I head back to the room, and I can't help but keep saying, "He's is so hot, I need to get with him" Of course Dolly and Olivia know it's party those margaritas talking, so they just laugh it off. I can't believe how attracted to this man I am, I better stay away from him, before I do something I might regret!
We walk around some more and bump into the scubs guy Raymond that Olivia was with the day before, he wants to see her again, so he asks where we are going tonight. We tell him Amnesia is where we have heard to go on Thursdays. He says he was planning to go there and offers to come with us. We all agree that it would be great to have him come with us and show us around. (At least we will be with someone we know, right?)
Well we agree to meet him in the lobby around 11. Olivia stays back and talks to Raymond for a while. Dolly and I wander off a bit to let them talk, a little while later, Olivia returns and she is MAD, Raymond and her got into an argument, something about her only allowed to be with him, and whatever...for whatever reasons, she DOES NOT want to see him again, so much for our ride and arrangements for tonight.
OH well, we go back to the room to get ready, as I am waiting for my turn in the shower, I hang over the railing of the balcony. I stare off into the ocean and close my eyes. I want to rember every part of this beautiful island. I don't want to leave. I don't miss home. At all.
I think I hear someone calling my name..I open my eyes and in the distance I see someones arms flailing and then gesturing to come down. I squint and try to make out who this person is.
I think it is anthony, the guy who does the snorkelling. Yep, it's him. I remember this morning, he was calling me down too. I begin to wander how these guys know where our room is, should I be worried or flattered?
I again tell him I will be down later and go back into our room. I am not sure how to deal with him, I don't want to lead him on, but again, I am liking the attention. That's the problem, too many beautiful men, and only here a few more days, what will I do??
Well, It's finally my turn to use the shower, I cool off in there, and then get ready to go out for the night. After Olivia fixes our hair, we rummage through all our clothing to figure out what to wear to Amnesia tonight. Our room is filled with clothing. Typical women bringing 50 outfits each and still not knowing what to wear. We laugh at all of our shoes too. There must be about 20 pairs of shoes lined up at the door. It is too funny. Three women on vacation for a week with enough clothes to last a month or two! We finally decide what to wear, and are off. We walk downstairs and see the DJ from the resoprts club. He seems to know us, I really can't remember him too well. He tells us he is going to Amnesia and he will go with us. He says if we go with him, no one will bother us because they will think we are with him. I am not too sure about that, but if he is willing to get us there in one piece, well, I'm in. What is going to happen with Raymond? I'm not too sure what's going on with that whole situation, oh well.
We go down to the beach front restaraunt for dinner, it is absolutely beautiful. It is getting dark and the moon is shining on the ocean. It is breathtaking. I am in awe. We all have a drink, enjoy our dinner and after we are done walk around the resort for a bit waiting for our ride. We talk to some of the employees and bartenders, they are all so attractive, we take some pictures. We are also pretty amazed that everyone there seems to know us and what we have been up to for the last few days. We keep getting guys saying, "you were at Margaritaville last night", or "I saw you, or you got here on Monday." We are all flattered, but start to wonder if we really "stick out" that much. We better be careful what we do! Or at least a little more careful!
Well, it's time to meet up with the DJ,
we tell him a little about our last few escapades, with Kevin , the american, etc.
He assures us will will be safe with him. We go to the cab, and the cabby tells us that Mr. DJ will call him when we are ready to go. Just to make sure we will get home, I ask the cabby for his number and put it into my pocket for safekeeping. I think Mr. DJ was offended that I didn't trust him, but I didn't care, better safe than sorry. I wasn't going to be in another bad situation again!
When we got out of the cab, I was a little hesitant, it wasn't at all what I expected. It was a pretty scary place. Like you see in a movie or something. It looked like "The bad end of town." Kind of Ghetto like. We all looked at eachother. DJ guy said "don't woory, you are with me" Like that made us feel any better.
We went up some stairs, and got into the actual club area. I looked around. It wasn't very full. I wasn't very impressed. The guy at the door gave us a glass of wine, and we walked around a bit, we went outside. Ok, outside was ok, until I looked over the railing and saw a bunch of trash and scary looking buildings. I wan't too sure about this place. But mr DJ man assured us it would get better in a while. I took a seat on one of the benches. Dolly sat across from me and we looked around. Some guy sat down beside me and told me he danced with me the other night. His name was Kevin. Great, another Kevin. Just who I needed to meet. This guy talked for a while, I can't even remember what he was saying, I was in awe at the way some of the people were dancing around me on the balcony. Men were grinding women on poles right in front of me. Dolly's eyes were wide open and she gave me the "Can you believe what they are doing look?" I think we were beginning to get a little used to this open display of affection or whatever you want to call it.
Olivia found another male friend. She is always attracting some kind of attention to herself and wandering off. The place started to get more and more busy. I was feeling a little better. This Kevin guy was still beside me talking away. Dolly said "Le's go dance" We went onto the dance floor and began to dance. Our DJ man found us and started teaching us some moves. We were doing pretty good, Dolly was enjoying herself, and we had a bunch of men around trying to dance and grind with us. We danced a bit more. This one guy that had been dancing pretty close to me whispered into my ear that I was beautiful and he liked dancing with me, he asked me my name. I told him - why do I keep doing that? I will never learn. He whispers into my ear his name is Kevin. DO YOU BELIEVE this? OK, now are all the men in Jamaica named Kevin? I was begining to think this was a bit amusing. I leaned over to Dolly and told her to guess what my new friends name was. She shrugged. I said "Kevin" she started to laugh. Kevin #3, wanted to know what was so funnny, so I just told him all the men I've met, their names were Kevin. He said I could call him Chris, since that was his "Real name" anyways. I said that would be much better. He smiled. He seemed to have an english accent. he started telling me that I should be with him, because he was of a "higher caliber" than all these other "cats". He was a real man, who knew how to treat me like a princess. OK, I began to think this guy was a liitle too smooth. He kept telling me how amazing I was and whatever else. I tell you, this trip sure did a lot for my ego...LOL
Dolly and I decided to take a break and get a drink, we walked back outside onto the patio area. We took a seat at our original table, Dolly was called over by a guy leaning up against the wall. I was sitting on the bench when Kevin #2 returned, and began talking again. I sat and listened for a while. Dolly came over to me and said her man's friend wanted to meet me. I looked up and saw this guy leaning up against the wall beside Dolly's guy. He didn't look too bad, or threatening, so I excused myself from the table where Kevin#2 was still talking and walked over. I looked at Dolly and noticed that the guy she was talking to guy lookd a little familiar. I looked again. It looked a little like gagsta man Kenny. In fact, it was, Dolly intoduced me to him, and I learned his name was Paul, and Paul introduced me to his buddy Pete. I shook hands with him. He smiled. He was cute. I leaned on the wall beside him and we started talking. He offered to get me a drink, when he returned, we took a seat and talked some more. All the while Olivia had been getting close to this guy and was sitting and talking to him, looking pretty comfortable. I noticed Raymond walk in, and he was mad! OH OH! I wonder if he had been waiting long to take us to the club. He went straight up to Olivia and confronted her. They began to argue. I looked at Dolly. She was preoccupied with Paul. She caught me look and went up to Olivia to make sure things were OK. My new friend Pete was asking what was going on, I told him I wan't entirely sure, but Olivia was getting herself into some kind of situation. I wanted to dance and asked Pete to come, he said he didn't dance, so I said I was going to go for a while. He held my hand and asked me to promise to come back. I said I would. he smiled. He had a nice smile. Dolly and I danced for a bit, and Paul joined her. They seemed to be having a good time. I was enjoying myself too, I was just feeling a little out of place with Dolly and Paul getting it on, so I told her I was going to get a drink and find Pete, because I promised him I'd come back. As I was exiting the dance floor, Kevin #3 (AKA Chris) grabbed my waist and said "hey baby, where did you go, I really want you" or something like that. I told him I was going to cool off and get a drink, he wanted to dance with me again, and I said maybe later. He insisted on me calling him and gave me his number, I took it and thanked him, then excused myself.
I went back out onto the balcony where Pete was still sitting on the very same bench I left him at, all alone. I sat down beside him. He smiled again. He said he thought I was never going to come back. I told him I had "promised" him I would , and I never break a promise. He also asked who the guy was that i was just talking to. Oh know, he saw me talking to Kevin (Chris). I just said it was guy I has just met here. He commented on how the guy looked like he was "pretty tight" with me. I just shrugged and said, no, I don't think so.
Olivia was still with Raymond, I'm not too sure what was going on there. But I figured she seems like she can handle it.
Pete and I got cozy there on the balcony, and continued talking. He seemed pretty educated, and smooth. He told me about himself, what he does, his life, etc. He wanted to know about me, so I told him a bit about myself. He put his arm around me. He smelled really good, I didn't hold back, and relaxed in his arms. He started rubbing my leg. OK, now Danielle, you just met this guy and my instincts would normally tell me not to let this guy start getting to me, like he was. I was jello. I was enjoying his touch way too much. Then he started running his fingers through my hair and looking into my eyes. His lips brushed mine. I felt comfortable, it was such a wonderful feeling. I had no hesitations at all. I figured what the heck, I wanted to kiss him, and he seemed like he really wanted to kiss me. I gave in, and before you knew it I was totally entwined with him. The room was spinning and I was totally oblivious to my surroundings. He continued to rub his fingers in my hair and I was enjoying every moment. When we pulled apart after what seemed like a few minutes, I was breathtaken. He took a breath and said "Wow". He took the words right out of my mouth. He continued to breathe on my neck and nibble here and there, I was spinning, and hot, I was out of control and now I was beginning to feel a bit guilty. What was I doing? This was a perfect stranger, I had to get out of there, or the next thing that would happen was...well, let's just say I would be in a copmpromising predicament! I was so worked up, I had to cool off, I pulled away from him and looked around, Olivia was getting really crazy with Raymond. I told Pete I needed to see what was going on, I went up to her and she was almost in tears, I excused myself from Pete and told him I would be back. He looked a little dissappointed, but still managed to give me a grin. God He had a nice smile, man I wanted to jump him, no, I better get out of here! I pulled Olivia away and tried to calm her down, we went to the bathroom. I was totally flushed and worked up and tried to calm myself down and Olivia as well. She asked what was wrong with me, and I just said, don't worry about it. She demanded what was going on, andd just at that minute Dolly walked into the bathroom, took one look at me and asked what the heck happened. I briefly said "It's too hot in here, I need to cool down, the guy..the one with Paul, you know, well we were talking, then he rubbed my hair, and then...before you know it we were kissing..and I am getting so worked up, if I go back out there, i am going to jump him!"
Dolly and Olivia, helped me to calm down, they took me back out onto the dance floor and I got out my freaky frustrations a bit. I was just beginning to relax, Then guess who walked into the club and straight onto the dance floor right up to me. YEP, the ORIGINAL Kevin. The crazy one. He tried grabbing my arm. I DID NOT want anything to do with this guy. He really creeped me out. He said he wanted to talk to me and started yelling at how disrespectful I was the other night. I said "Look, I don't want to talk to you" and petty much told him off. Dolly was still with Paul, dancing, but she could see that we were getting worked up, and put herself between us, he pushed her away and started yelling, I couldn't understand him, but decided now was a good time to leave the dance floor. He stomps off as well. I am freaked out. I just want to get out of there. Between me little escapade with Pete and this confrontation with kevin #1, then in the distance I see Kevin #3(Chris) watching me, I WANT TO LEAVE!! It is already after 3 or 4 am, and I am trying to avoid a bunch of guys. I try to find DJ man, he is right beside me, and has a cab ready to go. Olivia tells off Raymond one last time, and Dolly and I follow her to the exit. We are finally outside the club. I am feeling a bit better and cooling off.
As I get into the cab, I remember I left Pete sitting on that bench and promised I'd come back to him. I feel bad. I wish I went back to see him. Then my practical side tells me it is probably for the better, besides I will probably never see him again. I did remember his smile though, and in the cab on the way home, I still feel awful leaving him there. I sure did enjoy the kiss and his touch. We drive back to the hotel. All of us are a bit disspponted and sad. Dolly looks upset that she had to leave Paul, Olivia is upset that her whole night was wasted arguing with Raymond, and I am a little down leaving Pete all alone, when I promised him that I would return. How long would he sit there and wiat for me? I am terrible.

I still have the laminated business card. I can still get a good laugh when I read it even today!
Man this writing takes a lot of time, I am exhausted typing and remebering all the things that happened to us, and I am having a hrad time keeping everything in order!

Marilyn...this is just the beginning of my crazy juggling act...keep checking in for my next installment. I am taking a break now, and will post Friday's report tomorrow.

I know all about those paper napkin roses. The first Ja guy I ever dated gave me one. That was about 7 years ago, and I still have the thing. Ooooh, I had it bad for that guy. He wrote the sweetest letters, 2 or 3 a week, and we talked all the time. Then one day I just never heard from him. Found out later he moved to Grand Cayman and married a woman. Hey, where did she come from [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] Live and learn, but I still have fond memories of him, and that paper rose serves as a reminder.

OK here goes Friday...
We all sleep in this morning, after all we did get home pretty late and had a very exciting evening. We look outside, yet another beautiful day. I love this place, I definitely could get used to sun and beautiful mornings every day, but I know I have to return home and in only a few days..sigh. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] I haven't missed home a lot, absolutely nothing, is this a bad thing? Am I horrible for not thinking about all my friends and family I left behind? Oh well I am not going to dwell on those thoughts. I am here to enjoy myself and I will make sure I do...
We all throw on our bathing suits and cover ups and go down to see if we can still catch the breakfast buffet, the employees are cleaning up, so we grab whatever is still left at the buffet and take a seat.
An employee comes up to our table and asks how we are doing. He asks if we had a good time at Amnesia last night. How did he know where we went?? We look at eachother and wonder if we can do anything on this island without anyone knowing..
We all say we had a pretty good time (we didn't get into too many details about how we ran out of the club or anything) He asked what we were up to tonight and we told him we weren't too sure. He asked if we wanted anything from the bar. We asked the time, he said it was after 11 already. Ok, it's late enough to have a drink. We start off with our favorites strawberry margaritas, and Olivia gets her specialty, the paralyzer. By now half the bartenders and employees have heard of Olivia's famous drink. No one can understand why she chooses to drink such a drink, every bartender has their own comments like "Girl, why you wanna be paralyzed?" or "whats in des paralyzer ting?" It is too funny to hear the bartenders with their accent and look on their face as Olivia tells them for the upteenth time the ingredients.
Olivia doesn't mind the extra attention and gets a great big grin as she explains yet another time how to mix her drink.
We talk about our night last night as we lounge around with our drinks. Dolly seems in another place as she sits and daydreams of her "gangsta man" Paul. I tell her she is in a serious relationship, since she spent the last 2 nights with him. She says he is going to call her today. I look at her and see it in her eyes that she really has fallen for this guy. I just tell her to be careful ,and I wasn't all that imopressed that she had given him our room number, that was our unwriten rule, not to do. But for whatever reasons, everyone seemed to know who we were and where we were staying, we seemed to have made an impact on some people here! I asked Dolly what her plans were with him, and she said they were going for a walk and maybe go shopping, she wasn't sure. I was a little worried about her, but hoped she would be ok and use her common sense. I am one of those people who worry a lot about their friends and watch their back. I will always be there for them, no matter what and will do anyting for a friend. Dolly knows that, and I know she trusts me and will let me know if she needs me. At least I hope she does! I push that to the back of my mind and ask Olivia what went on with her last night. She tells us that Raymond came to the club and he was mad, first because we stood him up at the resort and didn't get a cab down to the club with him, and second, because when he got to the club, she was apparantly "with someone else". Well when Olivia told him she could be with whoever she chooses to be with and that she was free to talk to anyone she wanted, he went a little wild. He started saying she was disrespecting him and making him look bad, etc.the argument went on, then he apparantly was telling everyone not to go near Olivia, and for the rest of the night, she said she was"marked" and that no one else would talk to her or dance with her...so she was pretty upset. Man, the whole situation seems so stupid, I really hope this all blows over.
We are laying on the beach, then decide to have some fun with the kayaks again. We pull them off shore and begin racing around. We tire out and come back to shore and dry off in the sun, as we are laying there on the beach, our friends the Italians come over and start chit-chatting with us again. There are 6 or 8 of them, I can't remember. Thery are so funny trying to talk to us in broken english, and with the help of Olivia translating. There is nothing about them that attracts me, I am not the least bit interested in any of them, if I want to pick up some italian men, i'd visit Italy. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
Well, as they are talking away, I spot someone in the distance in the water, I look out and notice a familar face, it is Anthony, the guy from the snorkelling tour. He is waving at me to come out and join him in the ocean. I pertend I don't see him, but his flapping around in the water has now caught Dolly and Olivia's attention. They peer out and say "Is that...Oh Danielle...I think it's Anthony and he "wants you" they say teasingly. I smile, I can't believe this. It is almost a joke already. I look at him and wave. He keep motioning for me to come into the water. I think about it for a minute, and wonder if it's a good idea or not, it probably isin't but does that stop me? of course not. I get up, the Italian guys look at me and I think they ask where I am going, I just say I need to go for a swim. and so I go. I get out just far enough to see him again, his face is glistening in the sun in the water. He is very dark and has a cute face. He looks pretty young, and innocent, but those are just deceiving looks, right? He reaches out for me and I give him my hand. Out where we are, I can still reach the bottom, but every time I place my foot down I seem to step on something prickly. He tells me these are "sea eggs" they are actually living creatures, the same ones he gave to me the other day when we went snorkelling. He dives under the water and picks up a couple I was just stepping on. He shows them to me and starts talking about them. The ones I keep stepping on are just babies and they are everywhere. He throws them further into the ocean. I put my foot down again on another one. I say "ouch" and away he dives under water again to retrieve it and throw it away. It's kinda neat to have someone do this for me, I think he is kind of sweet. Now I'm not too sure about where to place my feet, so he scoops me up and sits me on his lap. Ok, so now picture this from the shore, I know Dolly and Olivia are keeping an eye on me, and they are seeing me floating around woith Anthony in the middle of the ocean, him diving up and down, in and out of the water, and now I am sitting on him. And it is purely innocent, I swear. I look off to the shore and I see Dolly and Olivia packing up our stuff, I tell Anthony I must go, we are going to catch lunch, we don't want to miss it, like we did with breakfast. He doesn't want to let go of me. He tells me how beautiful I am and how he just wants to hold me and stare at me. He says "I really like you" again, and I shyly smile. I'm not too sure what to do about this situation I am in, and I feel I need to leave before my friends leave me out here with Anthony all alone...
He slowly takes his arms off me and lets me place my feet down on the ocean bottom. He has cleared all the sea eggs so I can stand, that was pretty sweet of him. He holds my hand and asks when he will see me again, I say I will be around. He tells me that he really is looking forward to taking me to the falls tomorrow. I am looking forward to seeing the falls too. I let go of his hand and swim back to shore. He swims off to the boat area where he works.
I get out of the water to some pretty interesting looks from Olivia and Dolly. I say "what?" "we were just talking" They give me that "sure you were" look. They say they are hungry and need another drink. I could use one too. I think I need to cool off again.

There is nothing about them that attracts me, I am not the least bit interested in any of them, if I want to pick up some italian men, i'd visit Italy.

You guys are too much.
Here I am sweating away wondering how I am going to go on with my story...there is still so much to tell, but I am so nervous to put what I have done down in writing.
I am glad you guys are enjoying this report though. I must admit, it does feel pretty good getting some of my "little" secrets out....
As for the men in Jamaica, I was in awe, there were so many amazing men (hey as they say so many men, so little time...) [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
I did notice a few men who would have been great looking had they had some more teeth. (Let me just look at you, but don't open up your mouth...LOL)
I guess I shouldn't complain, I had my share of fun with some hot men...
