This is the 3ed trip I have taken on Thanksgiving night.
Airports are quiet and the planes are half full. The first 2 times I have been fortunate to go to the back of the plane and sleep three seats across.
This trip is the same, I wake up, clean-up and look out the window to see the Island. This trip its a breeze to get through customs and I'm outside and there is Solomon and MissS.

We make our way to the van and theirs Sienna recovering from the night before.
It's 7am and Sienna tells me she was out till 4am with the Thanksgiving group the night before.
We take the coast road to Negril. This trip it's a revisiting to The Whistling Bird.
Two years ago I meet MissS at The Bird so I wanted to revisit the place where it all started;this is our 8th trip together.
We pull up at the entrance to the Bird, Bim & Chris meet us. Andrea the manager come over to say her good mornings and make sure everything is to our liking.

The place is big, large living room with TV/AC and an adjoining screened in porch, where I will spend allot of time.
Our bedroom is spacious and comfortable but the crowning jewel is the shower. As one of the board members who saw the shower said..." you could fit 10 people in there".
Na, 4 is the max I had in there.
MissS starts her unpacking and I roam the property I haven't visited for 2 years. I have always loved the Bird for Its original Jamaican feeling.
Jim The Owner

Beach House Villas has all the good stuff,it's like a condo group in my home town.
The Bird is true Jamaica Jim Boylan the owner has created a unique setting right on the beach.
All the cottages are stand alones and are surrounded by natural vegetation. The huge trees were there in the beginning, the cottages were built within the vegetation that existed.
The Office

MissS and I spend some time getting reacquainted and than I walk down to the cambio, than a run to the Market.
Solomon and Sienna come back and we discuss the food world. We decide on food at Pirates Cave.
We start down the road but first we pick up Stacy and Abigail, friends from other trips.
This group is sure a chatty bunch when we finally reach the Cave I'm in need of some quiet.
Sienna is still trying to catch up on rest so she stays in the van and Solomon brings her food later.
I love 3-Dives and there prices but this place has more charm and sophistication.
Plus if your daring you can jump off the cliff and swim to the cave. Than take the steps up to the restaurant.

The food is wonderful and all the group is sharing food and chatting away.
I get up and walk away just to get away from the chatter.
The girls come to find me and coax me to return, this is the start of something that will change my trip. I pay for the food and drinks. We all jump in the van, I say my good bys to Tom and his wife and off we go down the road.
MissS and Stacy must visit the nail Salon in the Hi-Low plaza so we drop them off to get the repairs completed.
Solomon and Sienna drop Abigail and I off at the Bird.
The Bird is located in the middle of the 7 mile stretch between the beach and the road and across from The Jungle where tonight Yellow Man is appearing.

I'm getting worried about the noise, were very close to the road.
Abby an I are trying to get the Lap-Top sound system to work. Just when I'm losing all my cool Solomon shows up with Classy and Jenn24. These girls are extremely nice and Jenn finds the problem with my sound system.....I neglected to plug in one of the speaker connections..... WaLa' Boom! MTV or BET...big sounds I'm ecstatic with joy.
I show the girls around the place and we talk about Grange Hill on Sunday soon Solomon must take them back.
MissS is back with Stacy, soon Abby and Stacy go back to there place.
MissS and I are having discussions and we find our self in bed and fall to sleep.
The plan here is to be awaken by the music of Yellow Man, get dressed, walk across the street and see the show.
The next thing I remember is being shaken awake and told to get showered and ready to go out it;s 1:30am.
We sleep through the entire show now were going out dancing at 2 of the clubs.
MissS looks smashing ,I here the girls arriving, there is primping, fixing hair, smells, Oh, we're all ready and its 2am Taxi please.
First stop.... XXX"s... this is a club in the downtown part of Negril. Some of you may know it as Compulsion,it's up a hill and our taxi driver insists on driving into the mess at the top of the hill.
The place is very large, filled with people. lots of friends of MissS are there from Montego Bay.
Hi, Hello, la, la, Geo is getting crushed, grabbed 5 times, stepped on, soon we all decide this is way to crowded to dance, so were off to Close Encounter.

Me and the girls make our way up and Into my favorite bar in Negril.
It's nothing to write home about, it's to trashy for most people. However if you want to see the best dancers in Negril there here about 2-3-4 am on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday nights. Women and men.
When we arrive in the place there are 3 guys doing a line dance. I'm sure that's not the name but It looks choreographed, it's not, it's its impromptu.
MissS and the 2 other girls do there own dance and I'm mesmerized at the dancing.
Classy,
This is what I wanted you to see, you will need a chaperone because guys definitely will hit on you; the dancing is fantastic.
About 4 something were ready for some food, off to Mi-Yard we go. This is the place to finish your nights in Negril, we did, before we went back to the BIRD.
