Remo, you finally responded and with a bang at that. Yes, some might find Geo's words insulting, but after getting to know him briefly, I can honestly say that he means no harm. I truly think he loves MsS and would marry her in a hot mintues and respect her with his whole heart if she could return his affections and committment. I could be wrong and have been often before. Yet, yes I know, harm is done if you and others are insulted. Read deeper into his words and make note of the constant refrain you hear.

Geo: Don't fret.I am amazed at your never giving up on a person once you find something of value in them. How many men has MsS seen come and go in her young life and never return. In fact, how many would say they see what you see in her. I think if more people had your sense of committment to a relationship, divorce would become a thing of the past.

Angie, you'll love the Whistling Bird.

The place has a terrific vibe, and it feel like home. The cabins are quiet, spacious, and surprisingly cool. Never gets stuffy in there. And the hot wata bathrooms and nice. My shower never could fit, 4, 10 or however many Geo has managed to fit in there, but nice indeed, especially at night with the bush outside the window, and tree frogs seranading. In the morning there is always a Doctor ird outside the bathroom window. (For all the newbies.. Doctor Bird is the bird on the tail of Air Jamaica's planes)

As for security, never had any concerns. I've kept my car there, and bicycle and never had any problems. Even in the middle of the night, you got nothing to worry about.

Jim the owner, and family live right next door. They keep the place upkept nicely and safe.

It's my favorite place to stay when in Negril.

Geo, I see the order you put everyone in. Rosie before MissS. I think you should also do that in the greater scheme of things.

Next trip, forget Negril, and MoBay. Go to Ochi, Port Antonio, Strawberry Hill. See the east side of the country that you don't usually see. Spend time with Rosie instead of MissS this time. I think you'll return more relaxed and happy.
Plus you'll save a lot of $$$.

P.S. I've had the same cell phone for 3 years now, and I don't see a reason to change. Is why de ooman need a new Digicel every 3 months!!!!

I don't expect you to understand what MissS means to me and why I keep coming back to her. She is tough to control and I love to be in control.
I love her and respect the girl that is way down in her heart.
We have gone through a learning process in our 8 trips together. A roller coaster ride, never did I degrade her or any other Jamaican woman.

MissS told me just recently,....." Gerrrga' you just don't understand how tough it is to live in Jamaica".
I know allot of prices are the same in the US and there are chicken parts I have never seen in the US.

Her child was three last Friday and I sponsored a birthday party for him.
Friends came from Montego Bay to the small canyon where she lives; Mt.Arrie.
Juston was so very happy and will remember this for a long time.

I could use women and toss them aside, I think it's 10 to one, women to men In Jamaica. That's not what I am all about, I want my g'friend who now calls me her husband.

I will take her on her first plane ride in April, when we will go to Cuba.
Slowly I'm letting her know how much she is apart of my life.
The problems we had are worked out now. I feel like it's turning around, but you never know in a long distance relationship

There is a travel agency is MoBay - Caribbe Travel - I think - on Gloustershire - next to MoBay Club - that does packages to Cuba. Very reasonable packages - air, hotel - how ever many nights you want. Pay when you get there. No passport stamp. Fly on Air Jamaica.

There are loads of tourists there from Europe and South America. I hear the Cuban men are marrying the Argentines as fast as they can (and this is first hand info). And don't forget Cuba's as "brown" as JA.

All the AIs are there! although that's not your style. It is fun and as "funky" as JA. and there are other small places on the beach. Imagine time stopped in the 1960's. You'll love it!

I am rooting for MissS. I can imagine her shock at facing all the girlfriends - from everywhere - looking her over, perfumed up, perfect hair, USA nails, all kinds of accents. Very ntimatidating. Especially if it's just usually the two of you! All the dagger eyes on the board make me feel how she must have felt - but i know she felt worse.

Remo - have you ever heard the term "consenting adults"? i'm looking forward to hearing your secrets. or don't comment on ours.

Yes Seveen ...I know of it too..diagonal from Marguerites Restaurant...usually they have a banner/board out front advertising "Day Trip to Cuba".

I don't have a problem with you or your behaivor Geo.

If I were a single man on vacation, I'd would be looking for some female companionship myself. Jamaica is a great place with wonderful people. But lets keep it real. There is only so much culture you can soak up and only so many sites to be seen.

When I was a younger single man in the Marine Corps, my freinds and I would be out looking to meet women every place we traveled to.

All I'm am saying is that it is a natarual thing. It is not degrading in any way. I am sure that if Geo happened to travel to South Beach down in Miami, he would still be on the prowl. As a matter of fact, if he wasn't out chasing skirts, I would wonder what was wrong with him (lol).

There are some very beautiful women in Jamaica, and if I were still single and in the game, I would be out there with Geo. But alas, Mrs Motown has me on lockdown and my days of running the streets are over. All I can tell Geo my freind is that I hope that you find Mrs Right. Because when you do, you will be very happy. Trust me on that one. But until the day comes when you find the right woman to settle down with,have as much fun and good times as you can. Life is way to short to be miserable.

Actually, I do understand. Most men love games and challenges, hence the enormous popularity of NFL, NBA, World Cup Soccer, cricket, US baseball, etc. etc. etc. Why should the male orientation to love a tough challenge suddenly change when it comes to women?

However, this idea of some unbalanced M/F ratio in Jamaica is something I will never understand:

I have been following this statistic since 1997, and in that time it has never shifted from around the 50/50 mark.
