I have to admit that I was very envious that you were in my Jamaica without me. I have cried....laughed...sighed...remembered...and cried again. This was the best read ever.

Shaza is a beauty...her transformation was so enlightening...to see her go from hiding within herself to strutting her stuff is inspiring.

Shaza when I meet you (NOT IF)...when I meet you...I want to meet you with your hair flowing...and your head up like you own every runway there is...you go girl!

We're actually planning a trip now and I was wondering who you booked your hotel stay with. Also, if I call to get quotes what kind of room was that you had with the 2 bed/2 bath loft? Was it expensive? How did you all make by with food accomodations? Was there a market nearby or did you eat out most nights? Please get back with me when you can. I love your report and I can't wait to go myself.

oh the dreaded end…so sad. Urgh! The cure all for that is to get to planning the next trip and the fun starts all over again. Great report Cinnni! Glad you and the girls had a good time.

Shaza reminded me of myself when I went to Jamaica. I was very reserved and self-conscious at first. But after a few hours I was comfortable and was able to focus on having fun rather then what I looked like. Can’t say that I “transformed” or “changed” but rather the real me “emerged” because Jamaica welcomed and accepted me “as is”.

I agree with OcheeHeart…looking forward to meeting you soon.

I am so glad you enjoyed the report and that it made you laugh. Laughter is always a great healer! The Lady Shabba thing. That just killed me. And the funny thing was that all I could think about was OMG Wait til I tell the girls(you girls)

Everytime I read about someones inpending departure I first get excited for them then [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] for me because I am not going there too. When I was reading to Shaza posts from these boards and countdowns and stuff she was just like the rest of us. B*tch..I can't believe they are going with out us LOL I thought it was funny.

Back in the real world stinks. Amy is a single mom of three and does day care so the day after we got home she was back to having 5 little ones under 3.(her kids are in school all day) She had a great time and altho not coming back with us next year she is the year after. She said she cannot afford every year but will join us every other. However she has given explicite instructions that we are to call her every single night and report ALL details to her DWL. She isn't much of a computer user but I'll get her thougths and perceptions from her and post them soon.

Jessi moved back to Michigan 2 days before we left for Jamaica after living on her own in Chicago for the last 6years(I think it was 6). She is going to go back to school to be a Nurse and is going to be staying with family here(yeah for me...I've missed her) She is currently on vacation yet again with her Mom, Grandma and family friend in Charleston, NC and due home Saturday afternoon. I've been reading this to her every night as well. She actually went to the library there tho to log on and read everything too. I will tell her to sign up and post her own thoughts when she gets hom.

Shaza as we know from the report is a school teacher and went back to work the wednesday after we got back. She teaches English and also had to put the whole yearbook together so she was pushing her deadline. It was due a few days after we returned.

Vi.. I am so glad you liked my report. When I read that last report of yours it had me in tears. You are a beautiful beautiful writer and altho I could never compare I'm glad you liked my report and also cannot wait for the day I get to meet you.

Classy.. I would love to be able to stay longer like you lucky ladies get to do. That would not go over very well tho I'm afraid. However I do plan on staying for the 7th night so I can get that last bar night in..We didn't get to go to Rooftop because we weren't there that night.

Angie..The cigs in her hand were a hoot. We had to go thru and take out all the "bad" pictures so she could show her family the rest. Of course some of my favorites were in those ones. LOL.
All of these girls have a great spirit and I am blessed to have them as not only my travel companions but as my best friends!

OH Jahworks had a nice church shot in his report as well and it happened that I had just looked at his when I happened upon yours. They are nice photos.
