Just wanted to tell you I think it's great what you did for Keisha with the cards & calendars. What a wonderful idea to help a sweet person out. I agree, she does a great job on braids. Thanks for the recommendation when I went in January!

And so the sun sets on our one full day in Negril





Tonight Sassy has an invitation to two weddings in Sav, so she is off with a friend. Classy and I are going out for the evening.


First we have our traditional lovely dinner at Kuyaba, then drinks at Tamboo, then off to Bourbon Beach.

It's a pretty uneventful evening, and the usual nice night out in Negril. We are at the bar when I am approached by tall dark and unlovely. He goes on to tell me how he always wanted to talk to me but I am always surrounded by men (ok so he has been watching me lol). He then goes on to tell me how he is very special and doesn't talk to just anyone. (So I guess this is where I am supposed to feel flattered).

Before he gets his engine revved up, I tell him that I am leaving for Ochii in the morning. He informs me that he can come to Ochii, but only if he is invited. I just look at him and say nothing, wouldn't that tell you something?

One thing I will say is this man had on a white shirt that just felt marvelous. I told Classy to touch it and she was impressed to. He said something like "Rasta wear fine tings". So you can get the overall impression of how modest this guy was right.

To my left Classy is engaged in deep conversation. Hark....what is this, someone actually made it past two sentences!!!!! She is smiling, she looks relaxed, animated. Ok this is a good thing.

She touched me and said "Marilyn, this man I am talking to is from Ochii, he is soooooooooo different from these other men, I like him and I am soooooooo enjoying talking to him. I can't wait to get to Ochii."

I stand up and step over there and chat with them for just a second, then return to my seat next to tall dark and unlovely. He snaps at me "who is that guy? You know him?"

I lie and say "yes, I know him from Ochii."

"Well, when I am with someone, I am happy talking to that person ONLY."

Uh oh time to go. I tell Classy what this guy said and Ochii man gets up to leave. He says he does not want any trouble with anyone. Aw heck, now tall dark and unlovely has gone and spoiled TWO people's evening. I got to get out of here.

I tell him that we are leaving and that we are going to be at the Jungle later{which we are NOT}.

Then Classy and I go upstairs and give him the slip.

After we dance a little bit more, we head home down the beach around 3:00 AM. End of the one full day in Negril.

Tomorrow..........MY OCHII.........home sanctuary...LOVE.

This five bedroom home is smack on the seven mile beach. Owned by an Italian american, he does rent rooms out, but I did not get the info

Not shown to the right is a deck with swing and a separate building high up with hot tub.


OUR Chef at OUR hotel in Negril, and when I say OUR, I do mean OUR because we bought out the whole hotel for July. Sorry Jazz, we ain't tellin'. But seriously, I will PM it to you. Hotel,restaurant. bar and yacht....all MINE!!!!

Baby I just find men like this whenever I go to Jamaica. The ladies here will tell you that I have posted some of the best pictures of some of the most beautiful men in Jamaica. I have this radar that literally goes off. All during the trip I would point them out to Ochee and the others and they'd say, how'd I miss that????
It's a gift.

that end of the beach is a world of difference from the other end. When we wanted action, we just walked down there for a bit and then came on back to the sophisticated side. There is a big difference though, and CLassy really appreciated it because she really got stressed last trip down there.

So it is now Sunday morning. We go and check on Sassy to be sure she got back safely from Sav. We get dressed and head to Selinas for Sunday brunch. I have broughT Selina some wedding cake books, as cake decorating is her new venture. Someone on another board said they would take her some equipment, but if you are going, this would be a nice thing to take her.

Here we see Jaden and Zoe picking out their wedding cakes


Ochee heart has arrived in Ochii and has made arrangements to ride over in our van to Negril to pick us up. I can't wait to meet her. I am in the room and I get this feeling. I step outside to look down toward to office and I see a bright spirit. I need no introduction, I just KNOW it's her.

She turns and sees me and squeals, run, hug up, new sister in my heart. There's J and he has brought a friend for the ride . Trelawny has come over to meet her Ochee. They have shared many many things over the internet and have bonded. As soon as they embrace tears flow from both ladies. Their bond is strong and they have helped each other through a lot. It is a long long time before they let each other go.

No one understands the importance of sisters.


We show Ochee, J and friend our room. Maybe Classy got a better picture, but the bed is up three steps and the steps have neon lights under them that make the steps light up. What a love den for someone.

We go to OUR bar and I buy everyone drinks before we leave for Ochii. It is hard for Ochee and Trelawny to part. We are anxious to get to Ochii, but this parting is hard for them. They cling to each other and whisper things that can only pass between sisters who have "been there done that." Finally we are off to Ochii

Revelation from Negril:
I was asking too many personal favors from someone who is way too busy to be bothered with me and my stuff.

Revelation:
Negril seemed more beautiful to me than I can ever remember. It was so beatiful in fact that it hurt to look at it. All I could manage was glances, and even they took my breath away.

Revelation: There is peace in Negril if you look for it.





Along the way we stop at this grotto where people bathe. Ochee Heart has the BOMB pictures of this for you guys. I can't wait to see them myself.
