Let the Games Begin ! ! !

Now I am no expert in photography, and many may disagree on my selections. Opposition is welcome!
However, my judgement is final! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I've divided the pictures into four categories:

1. People

2. Sceneries

3. Artistic Compositions

4. Interesing/Anything Goes


Not only the content of the photographs was taken into consideration, but also the quality.

Shots taken after 3 or more shots of Vodka and Ting that are "leaning" to the left or right, are blurry, too light, too dark (QueenB's not gonna be there to help you everytime), and those that got powerlines, somebody's finger (or other body part), and those that don't sweeten my eye were not taken into consideration for the contest!

-Ochi in all her glory, except the ugly, heavy Turtle Towers making the whole city lean toward the left.

-Marilyn hunting the Loche Ness Monster, or is it the other way around?

Oh this is tooo cute. I agree with your selections to a point, I think my water goddess shot was one of my best also.

I did this in private, but I think it is now time to do it in public. This was Classy's first time out with a digital. Believe you me we all had to chew our nails as it arrived basically on the day we were leaving, and she had an elaborate plan B in place incase it didn't get there before we left that involved Cathy.

Anyway, I told her just the other day in PM that all things considered, new camera, and all, I think she won the "contest". Her Ochii scenes are gorgeous, skycastle scenes, I LOVE the one she took when it was raining. It was one of those pictures that made me say "Now why didn't I take that shot?"

She has an amazing eye for compostiion. Magic this is a simple shot she took, but here are two of MY favorites.




And my favorite


She has a definite eye, and true creatviity which is a trait I admire a lot in people.

I bow humbly and pass the trophy to the our baby.

Thanks for the honorable mention Magic...but the picture of my baby was Lady Z's creation. She hasn't posted many of her pictures...but she has some great ones.

Thanks Marilyn, but like I said before I think there are some great shots that you did not post on the board.

I am glad you all enjoyed the photos - come July I plan to take many more (I was camera shy at the dances and didn't wanna walk around with it strapped to my wrist blinding people with my flash *lol*). There are some that I deleted to save memory and I am kickin myself over it now but oh well...
