Some have been writing to me, asking when my last visit's pictures will come.

I was all set to do it today, but the CD machine at the photo shop is down, so it will have to wait another day.

Now, I have promised Vi that I would not scan anymore pictures, she says they are too fuzzy, but I just had to get this one up. It is one of my favorites of the trip. And it's really not that fuzzy, right Vi?

Me and Hubby at Roaring River, May 17th. The water was perfect, as was the day.

Jahbuddah!!! It's beautiful!!! not fuzzy at all. You two look great!!! And I see you are at Roaring Rivers, really a great shot...girl this torture. Forget what I said about fuzzy pics...we need to see more..puhleeze!!!

This a side road cutting through a cane field on the way to Roaring River. At different locations truck loads of cane were just sitting abandoned by the side of the road, I was told because of an overproduction of cane this year.


This is the blue hole on the way to Benji's Paradise at Roaring River. I was told that no one has been able to find the bottom, it's that deep. I will post a better picture later, when I get the CD's.

We stopped here, although I was in a hurry to get to Benji's and didn't want to swim here, it's so pretty I wanted a picture.

The man who watches over it came out and made a fuss because I took a picture without paying, even though I took the picture from the road, and wasn't technically on the property.

I didn't like his attitude and didn't want to pay, but Mr. Jahbuddah, ever the diplomat smoothed things over by giving him and his wife a couple of Stripes.

Just to let you know, if you go here for a picture, be prepared to hear about it if you don't pass off something.



This is from right, the magnificent Benji (the luckiest man in Jamaica), my suddenly pale husband, and Benji's brother Everton, the consumate gentleman. When you talk to him, you can just imagine him sipping tea in an English parlor.

This is Cousin Jahbuddah, near the shelter at Benji's. He has a van and drove us all up here that last day. Very nice guy.

I'm not sure what this tree is called, Cat's Tale comes to mind, but I'm not sure.


This is a decidedly studly lookin Mr. Jabuddah in front of the path to the grotto and pool.



Here is another one of my King, at the top of the grotto. This is his favorite shot.



I made sure Mr. JB got this one of me. It is completely instructional. If you can balance yourself right where I am standing and lean back, you get the best back massage on earth. Oh, I can feel it now. Mi wan go home!


This one is 3 step-Jahbuddahs, and one friend.

This day I really felt like when Orbra talked about being an African Queen. Just me and a gang of men, all getting along and doing whatever the Queen needed to be happy.

Gee, wonder how I got so addicted to Jamaica?

The pictures of the river are great. I was not sure how I was going to wear my hair in July. Now I see that braids are the answer because I gotta get down deep in that water. It would be a crime for me to go there and not immerse myself.

Oh and Queen Jahbuddah, you were surrounded by some mighty fine subjects indeed.

If you look closely, you can see brother-in-law Jahbuddah up in the tree in our yaad, knocking down ackee with a long stick.



The day's haul. I'm posting it here again because something about the quality of the light makes this look like a Van Eyke painting, almost a photo, but not quite. I just love it. For once my fuzzy scanning paid off.



And this is the killer. I think Baby step Jabuddah has stumbled upon the best mango God ever created! At least he seems to think so.

It was perfect timing, too, because the last day I am usually just a bucket of tears. At Benji's, it is just impossible to be anything but grateful to be alive.

Now I know how to end my visits right.

And yes Vi, you do have to get all the way in, you won't want to miss it.

ohhhh you guys look GREAT i love the 1st one....just too cute and look so in love :love:

vi...braids are the way to go....i usually do braids all summer long....nice and easy..and for a jamaica trip a must

Oh Jahbuddah...you look soooo in love. I agree with Vi. But unnu haf no card reada fi digicam?
PM me and I'll tell you bout it. You download camera to PC in matter of seconds...then download to a pic site (imagestation, snapfish, etc.) and poof..it done!
But tonks fi di pics...making me WAN GOOO HOME!!

PastLifeJam - Baby girl has a 35mm. I wanted to get her a digi but it didn’t work out. So no media card. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] I feel so bad about that, but this one has a slammin zoom range.
