Definite post of the week-I'm luvin the wonderful insight.

Especially the posts on being a big woman in the Carribean. I remember the first time I went to visit my Grandfather in Guyana as an adult and being hearing-"Hey fattie, fattie girl." and relating this story to a friend in the States. She was aghast. "How could he say that" I was like-"Child please-he was hitting on me." I have also expierenced the ridicoulous(sp) amount of attention-just because I was American. I think if you keep your wits about you its pretty obvious why somebody is hitting on you. I also think that self-esteem is the key. If you are feeling good about yourself-you exude a self-confidence that men can almost smell in the air. People are attracted to that love of self and wonder-what does she have going on and how can I get me some.

Rudemonk is right EVERYONE gets played! And we need to all admit it, at one time or another we love it! There are charmers out there, but aren't we really looking for a charmer? Come on be real....everyone loves attention! As for the Fatty Fatty, Mampee....well I've been a size 8 and I've been a size 24...and it's all the same game!

I'm fat and beautiful...and as for a size 16..please that wouldn't even go around my thigh...but that doesn't make me a bigger target (hee hee no pun intended)and please don't feel sorry for me, I learned a long time ago that everyone is intitle to a good life, a full life, a life full of love and peace, and my appearance wheather it be good or bad is never going and never has stopped me from living my life to the fullest and having every dang thing I want!

This is a wonderful post. The man has covered Negril like a blanket. He has been in every area I have been and many more.

The conversations about the nightlife is very interesting to me. I have always been fascinated with the going on in the Jamaican night. I have watched the gigs descend when group of full-bodied women arrives at a bar, he is so right.

I have listened to the gigs making plans for a good Jungle night, believe me they have plans.

I have been on the other side and talked to many of the girls about Negril and Jamaicans nightlife.

I take my friends out dancing and we get hit on all night. Not by the Jamaicans but by rude Americans and euros who think it’s all for sale. If you have a girl they think you will sell her if the offer is high enough after; all she’s just****.
I have been fortunate to find the women I know as friends, some in the life and others not..

one weird thing about going through certain kinds of dancehalls is you get to see what it is like to be a girl in say, a NYMFC club who is always getting her *** patted, lol...sometimes I wish I had an athletic cup on, lol...as some chicks will think nothing of checking the package so to speak...
