I'm exactly the same way...a beach lover, but once I get up into the hills I don't miss the beach at all. It's weird. Love the farms and the countryside. It occurs to me that if I lived up there I might turn into a hermit who never comes down from the hills.. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Sounds like you had a nice trip too. I went to Port Antonio on a day trip last summer. It was lovely, but we really needed more time to explore. So much to see there. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I hope you venture over to Treasure Beach on your next trip. I would be a total change for you.
I am going to make it my mission to get you into the photography world. Nina and I had the same Nikon, until mine was stolen.
It’s so simple to become a shutterbug. It helps to visualize your memories.

You travel from place to place; it would be nice to see the visions you create with your words. Don’t get me wrong you have described a special trip to places I haven’t been and I enjoyed every word.

The photo hobby would be something you might like if you started small and simple.
Nina is a good teacher maybe she will help.

lol Geo [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I'm not sure I can be reformed to become a photographer at this point. Even at family gatherings and such, I never remember the camera. Hmmn..maybe I could carry a photographer around with me. That way I could get all the good shots, but still enjoy taking it all in without trying to capture it. I think I may need one Dave... [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] But, I always joke about "no photos please...the paparazzi are finding me quickly enough" lol Seriously though, the shots you took at Nine Mile are just the ones I would have taken had I brought the camera. Very Nice And the countryside..well.. sigh..
