These photos all feel very familiar... yes i got a laundry fetish.. thank you for thinking of me...

now if i live there.. i got to learn to hang it proper.. never did that here in NY.... only once at Cultures.. and i caught him when he thought i wasnt looking.. changing how i pinned it up.. LOL

Just had to zoom in on this garden on the hillside...amazing testament to determination. That and the power lines that are strung everywhere into the high reaches of the mountains...how'd they do that????

the pictures of the Museum bought tears to my eyes - i spent 6 months in that yard - learning all about Rastafari - eating ital - of course it wasn't a museum then - just a recording studio

The museum is not even a stones through from my grandads house on Hope Road. Spent many a Sunday afternoon runing around there as a kid.

I have always known I would love ALL the Island had to offer, even tho I have never been to these areas, I have drooled over others photos and read others reports for years - Loops, I now know I must experience it for myself sooner, rather than later!!

Nina and Loops - you have both voiced your frustrations over traveling these paths by car and not always having the flexibility to stop and absorb whatever you want, whenever you want to .... so - is it possible to rent a scooter and explore by scooting around?? As I have said before - I have to try to do this on a shoestring budget - or is a scooter just on reasonable??

Loops I am always amazed at those terraced gardens.. they do them alot in South America too.. but where there is a will there is a way.. and it's done all over the island... for a gardener like you im sure its a feast for your eyes

Laurel.. shoe string budget.. tough call.. i want to drive myself around. period... im going to just have to get the courage.. been there enough times.. i drive in NYC so i should be able to do it there..... and if i get a place. which im hoping for.. ill need a car.......

scooters.. ive thought it would be nice on country roads.. but you know there is not a great safety mentality on the roads there.. id not really want to test it.. but in a small town.. like if i lived in PA.....
