Negril in November....it nice.

We're just back from 5 nights in Negril. Got a sweet deal at Samsara I couldn't resist which fit well into my new "do it cheaper and more often" plan. Samsara was perfect in November, not many guests....don't see myself doing this property in the spring though. I would pity the fool who chooses the AI plan ...we ate breakfast there the first morning...we're talking horrible! Aside from the food, property worked nicely for a 5 day getaway, despite all that concrete. This was our first fall trip to Negril, and I have to say i prefer it to the spring. Lot less people, more low key and the slower pace up on the cliffs was just right for our required R&R.

Not much to say as we didn't do much. I have turned sun sucking into an art form, so that was the big priority for me. I succeeded. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] We ate, sunned, lounged, dipped and took occasional walks up and down our west end neighborhood. Oh yes, we had a few red stripes...That's about it. Story over.

So, I'm gonna try to do this without a lot of words...so hang on....pics are coming.



sat on this porch til our butts ached....a good ache though. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] Next...the view from said porch. The pillar houses looked like they had a nice view, but we enjoyed our more natural setting tucked away back there in the foliage.

More pics Loops! And nice that you could work in a getaway. My last time in Ja was also a kickback time. Our bodies need that once in a while. And thanks for the ups on Samsara.

The point is...Samsara would be a drag in the spring, it's cheap and i bet the college crowd would be abundant...nothing against college kids...i just don't want to hang with them on vacation. hey ((milo))...why are you still here? Shouldn't you be basking by now? Cliffs, I'm starting to prefer them over the beach. I can appreciate the slower pace. And we are becoming much more comfortable walking along the road. It just has more of a neighborhood atmosphere to me.

Not so much looking forward to going back to Negril.. but I really always look forward to his big smile when he sees us.. and the warm hugs and familiarity............ it's really why i ever go...
