I am loving your report!!

This house has been under construction for many many years. I would say probably about 15 years, and I doubt it will be finished anytime soon.

I believe the owner ran out of money or the government seized - squatter land. I heard so many stories, I dont know the real reason. Sad though, because it looks like it had potential to be beautiful!

You know ColeS, I recall seeing it there in the same condition back in FEB 2004, and was very surprised to find it in the same condition a year later. My mom pointed out that people start building these magnificent homes and then the money suddenly runs dry and you're left with these shells standing there waiting for completion. As you already know, the picture I have doesn't do it justice - this place is huge!
