ah, so the story is finished.

why do i feel as though a new chapter has just been started?

i have two beefs with you, soul hunter.

one is that you never changed the title of thread to a "remarkable" journey as i begged days ago .... and, more importantly ....

you certainly do NOT have to hunt your soul. perhaps your soulmate, but not your soul. you have more soul that all the rest of us combined!

i hope you have copyrighted this .. it really should be published.

i would extend this thread another 20 pages if I tried to thank you all individually. My sincerest gratitude to you all for your kind words. they certainly were appreciated during this rather difficult period, and I plead that you all go to the jamaicaholics forum and send out a few prayers for napi and lil' sis who now shoulder an even greater burden than my family has had to bear.

i won't do a trip report on this last trip. i started jotting down a few notes but the words just continued to fail me. i did take a few pics of spanish town and even fewer still of kingston and i'll post a few of those here once i get them off the camera.

thanks again everyone, and once i figure out a way to get down to jamaica the same time napi is there, i promise a full (though perhaps not detailed [img]/forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] ) trip report.

I'm pretty sure the woman in the picture is on the beach, but I can't remember for sure. Not sure where she got it, but Moms has had it for a while now.

I love your report. I can relate with you on many of your experiences. Like the one about going to the funeral of a family member and how its like a family reunion and celebration of life with goat head soup, dominos playing, etc. Those are some of the fondest memories for me and I like to capture those moments in time by taking pictures to remember the occassion. You're an excellent writer which words can't really describe. GREAT pictures!
