OMG-I can feel Strongman stiffening up as Dread is walking over looking all handsome with a big smile on his face. I pop up out of my seat and go to Dread and give him a hug. Strongman goes over to the bar and is watching me interact with Dread. I tell Dread to pull up a chair because there were only 4 seats at the table. I look over at Strongman and he is looking EVIL [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img] Ahhhhhhhh...Ya’ll have told me all the stories warning me about these men, but I hope that I’m not gonna have to break up a fight! Dread is totally oblivious to the whole situation. He’s smiling and trying to touch my back and my hands and is talking really close to my face. I probably looked like an idiot trying to anticipate where his hands were going so that I could twitch and twist out of the way. I can feel the heat rising in Strongman’s face. I keep trying to smile at both of them. Finally Strongman comes back to the table and gives a kurt nod at Dread. He asks me if I want to go out to Happy Mondays later. I tell him yes after we leave Risky. He lightens up. He tells me that he will go out and drive his cab while I’m at the club. I ask for his phone number and tell him that I’ll call him when I get back to the room.

After Strongman leaves, his friend soon leaves. I just sit and listen to Dread. He has such a pretty voice and face. Ahhhhh, he’s soooo cute with such nice mannerisms. He spots a friend and he sits down next to Stacy. Dread asks if I want to see the fireman. I say yeah. He walks over to the man, but he tells us that we have missed the show. Fire man comes over to our table and tells me that I must see him perform. That it is a cultural experience. I tell him that I’ve seen his picture before on the Internet. That makes him light up. He tells Dread that he will be performing with the band later. I just kinda thought that I heard him wrong. Me and Dread keep talking and a nice cover band takes the stage. They were very, very good. So we are all sitting enjoying the music. On the beach I can see the shadows of people dancing to the music. Dread asks if I want to go upstairs. He said that I will like it up there. I ask Stacy if it’s OK-she says fine so we all go upstairs. Dread, with the assistance of a man standing upstairs, gets us chairs. We are on the second floor of the club. It overlooks the ocean and the stage is right below us. Dread was right, it was wonderful up there. We were the only people up there so it was very quite and dim, with the wind blowing….ooh I wish I was there now. I ask Dread if he was really performing with the band later and he says yes. I just kinda go OK and brush it off. We sit back and put our feet up and listen to the great band. Dread gets up and says he’ll be right back. I’m chilling so, whatever, whatever. As I’m grooving to the sounds of the band I look down and Dread is standing next to the stage. I poke Stacy and go-Look Dread is really gonna perform with the band. He gets up on stage and does a duet with another guy on stage. Dread has a nice, nice voice. After he performs one song the band finishes their set. Dread comes back up the steps and I start clapping. I tell him that I didn’t know that he was really going to perform. He tells me that he performs with the band every now and then. He says that he usually does 2 songs, but that they ran out of time. After the band packs up the DJ comes back on. After a little while I tell him that it’s time to pack it in for the night. He and his friend walk me and Stacy to the parking lot. We decided to take a cab back to the hotel since it was so late. I thanked Dread for the evening, gave him a hug and told him to be safe.

My Lobster-Laurel do you remember my post about looking for lobster.....I found it.



After we finish eating I call Tommy to get a ride back to the hotel. He tells me that his wife has called him and that he is on the way home. He apologizes profusely, but I tell him-no problem, we will just get a cab back down the cliffs. We pay up, thank the waitress and head to the street. I have my hand down trying to get a taxi. It seems that all the ones’ speeding by are full. We keep getting beeped at, but it’s from cabs going up the cliffs. One of men that works there says that he will get us a taxi. He comes over and does the same thing that I’m doing and a taxi stops....I just roll my eyes and say thanks. We get back to the hotel in a flash. [/qb]

Ok Classy,Sassy, Ochii, Lady Z.....pay attention to this segment. See there are other people who faint at restaurants in Jamaica. At least I did not embarrass you guy by fainting like 6 times .LOL

We had guys on the beach almost fightin over who was gonna take nieces on a jet ski...Would hate to think if it was guys who thought there was more at stake than ski fare!!!

Happy Mondays

As we are getting out of the cab, I hear a beep across the street. It's Strongman driving past. I tell him to park, that I need to run into the hotel. Me and Stacy go inside and I tell her that I'm going to Happy Monday's with Strongman. She can't understand why I would pick Strongman over cute Dread. I tell her Strongman isn't looking for a woman. He just wants to chill. Dread wants a girlfriend and I don't do LDRs. I give her Strong's number, use the restroom and run out the door.

I jump into the car with Strongman and we are off. Ok, so he's driving like 80 miles and is just zipping around corners. It is scaring the crap out of me. He wasn't driving erratically, but his 80 was way too fast. As I’m looking out the window I realize that I am becoming familiar with some of the sights. After driving for a while he slowed down because I told him that he was scaring me. I later told him to drive like he wants. We talked. He was upset when I told him that I went back into the hotel to tell Stacy where we are going and to give them his cell number. He was like-I'm not gonna hurt you. I'm gonna protect you. Nobody is gonna mess with you while I'm here. We had a long talk about being a female and me going out with him. He wanted to take us all out to Mobay or on a sunset cruise. I think his feelings were hurt because the girls thought he might abduct me, so he felt that he needed to prove that he was good people by taking us all out. We arrived the Happy Mondays and get a space right by the front of this huge field. I am so excited that we came. As we were driving up I could hear the boom, boom, boom of the bass. There was no cover charge so we walk right in. People are walking around, talking and dancing. Vendors are moving through the crowd selling all types of things. Everybody just seemed to be enjoying themselves. Strongman leads me all the way across the field because he is looking for his friends. We end up over at the far left side of the field. It's less crowded over there and had less lights. It was cool. We chilled. The music was great-dancehall!!!!! The stars were blazing above us and another field was to our right. I kept thinking how I can only see one or two stars in DC and here I couldn’t even begin to count how many are in the sky. His friends found him and I was introduced to everybody. He brought us Red Stripes and we just danced to the music. Then this cameraman kept coming near us with huge light attached to the front of his camera.

you see that they still have the mentallity of choosing a cute guy over a respectable nice guy. It not about the looks but how a person treats you and how they carry themselves.

Sorry it’s taking so long to write, but I just am doing little passages during breaks at work. I actually had the opportunity to talk to Strongman for a while, so I think that influenced the perception I had of him versus the girls’s perception. Both guys were nice and both wanted something, but the something that Dread wanted-I just couldn’t deliver.
