Wonderful report...can't wait to hear more. Good exmaple of going to an AI, but getting out and mingling with the people. I guess you got the best of both worlds.

Jacqui, glad to hear you had a good time on your booze cruise. I went on one in MoBay and was very disappointed. How long was the cruise??

You know i believe that we all have our personal legends ,just like the biy Santiago, all we have to do is to reach out to what we want in life and not what life provides for us,each and everyone of us has his path,wether the ritghteous or wrong, we just have to make life worth living,

If you are focusing let it be your only goal to reach out to perfection and make your life suitable so that you migt not stir any provocation from the people around you,

BUT ! sometimes we have to let go somethign we LOVE so much inother to reach out to our personal Legend.

I rented Cocktail over the weekend and kept replaying the scenes in Jamaica ..... I honest to God had Jamaica filled dreams on Saturday night ... but mi lookin for more!!!

Marilyn - I had been lurking on here for nearly a year before our trip and have been following your travels through your words and well as others and they are touching! The amount of love and caring that everyone shows toward you, and you to them, is a true testament of what a magnificent person you are! I am honored that you are enjoying my report and glad that you have hung in there with me! I had a blast on the cruise, although I did find out that Red Stripe is a tad bit stronger than American Beer! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/704555_dwl.gif[/img]

After 5 of them I was quite tipsy! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] I hope that someday we will have the chance to meet!

By all the best authority, I am assured that Red Stripe is in different versions. I am told that what is exported to here is not the "real thing". I once had a friend have me tak a bottle back into a little store in JA and switch it for another one based on something that was printed on the outside of the bottle and I swore to remember what it was, but as I was drinking Stripes, I can't remember [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I was trying to get a diver entering the water...just missed - see the small splash. I would say he scored a 10 on that dive!

(((Jacqui))) you are a sweetheart!!!! aaahhhh I love a good booze cruise especially when it is stocked with plenty good booze!! Wow…almost 4 hours. The cruise I was on lasted only a little over two hours because the driver got us to the boat late and the captain would not extend the trip.

We're are patiently waiting for more. You okay dahlin?????

As Loops said, I too was an AI the first time - and also ventured out - once out of the AI the only time I returned was to drop my weary bones in bed to sleep - and then out exploring again!

I had been on one cruise - which was okay at the time - but now I would find it far to confining when I could instead be venturing all over Jamaica!

Enjoying the report - am just at the beginning of page 2 - ok back I go.

I took a picture of this same sign. I had to explain to a local Jamaican why I was taking it and explained that where I live the signs say “No Shirt, No Shoes, No Service.”
