We decide Jakes it too too not for us - altho I loved hanging there for a drink and such ... so we decided on this place instead -

In my bliss

After a LOVELY morning swim - quickie shower and change cuz we got company ... Gairy Brooks - Treasure Beaches Scooter Guy - come to carry us to Junction to get out more money and to find a place to buy me a big fan .... there were ceiling fans in our little guest house - but there were not very 'serious' ones ... and you know - no body knows HEAT like a woman over 40 - (too bad this photo came out so dark ... his is the most lovely and charming face!!)

After Gairy returns us from our drive to Junction - another swim for me while he goes with Gairy to pick up our scooter for the rest of our week. Brings back a little lunch for us before we head out for our ride -

LOVE THAT BUN & CHEESE!! I was getting my entire mug around that!!

We scootered and scootered as far as we could reach - LOVED the countryside ...

All the farming is done by hand ...

now for pictures .. if you want to show the 'face' .. have the person face a light source .. preferably the sun .. in a doorway, window or outside .. the flash alone may not help much during the daytime ..

After scootering for several hours, back to our cottage for me to swim and swim and take my sun .... while he went off to scooter further and visit with some friends that hailed him up around the community.

That late afternoon - Girly called and called for her Daddy to be near her cuz the breeze that was surely to come with Dennis might blow her away!! What to do, What to do?? Decision Made - have Sonny bring her to us in Treasure Beach to ride out the storm there with us -

With the anticipation of the oncoming storm - who knew what might happen in the community regarding power, etc.?? I did NOT come all this way to Treasure Beach with my list of things I HAD to have - and here we were - hurricane a-comin .... and on my list of must haves was that lobster pizza from Jack Sprat .... so - Girly is on her way to us, we pop down to the shop and get some food supplies and water, then - scooter off to Jack Sprat to get me my pizza and some for little one as well.

SO - he orders 1/2 a cheese for Girly and 1/2 lobster for me .... 1/2 NUTHIN!!! I shall have a whole one and keep the leftovers for tomorrow [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] ... and my photo is no good ... but it WAS TO DIE FOR!!!

Just as we were waiting for our pizza's ... the heavens opened up and POURED down rain ...

Had our precious pizza boxes wrapped up in a big plastic bag - and off we went ..... scootering back to the cottage laffin and waving to all that passed us in their cars .... me carrying the pizza's, bouncing on the back of the scooter ....

Just as we arrive at the cottage and as he is pulling up onto the car port .....

WHOMP!!!! Scooter slides and tips me over into this mud heap!!! Thank God it was the opposite side that I was carrying the pizza - and they were spared!!!

WE LAFFED AND LAFFED - and off I went to the sea to rinse off ....
