Was the house you stayed in in TB in Great Bay? It wasn't Viking House was it?

Hi Lizzie - We stayed at Pelican's Reach .... two properties down from Blue Marlin on Great Bay. There are several bedrooms & baths ... maybe 4 or 5, a large dining & sitting area and a large screened in porch, decent enuff kitchen. We took just one bedroom & bath combo (kept Kim with us when she joined us) and had use of the kitchen, dining, & porch. Keep in mind now ... pretty basic ... low ticket - we are extreeemly low maintanence!! Angie - the house keeper/manager offered to cook and clean/tidy for us ... but - we just kept it very low key. He would bring back a cooked meal in a box (the BEST mac & cheese and steamed green beans for me EVER) from the locals cookshop up the road, we had our one 'fancy' breakfast meal at Jakes, he brought bun & cheese, I had a drink at Jakes, and take out pizza from Jack Sprat ....

We had to get a can of ant spray at one point - but - that is the way it goes ...

We will be there again -

The cook shop made from a container beside the little yellow shop? (as far as I know it's the only cook shop in Great Bay [img]/forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] ) A friend of mine cooks there

Wow Laurel, I had no idea you ventured this far off the beaten path. Your pictures are wonderful and it is nice to see your smiling face again. I enjoyed seeing you and hearing that laugh at Ms. S kitchen. When you get a chance, shoot me a PM and tell me more about this villa in the shots above.

Nothing really much more to tell about our little Guest House (just a place to shower and flop out really) - no fotos from inside, beside the dance party on the porch ... The photo up above was from hanging around at Jakes at breakfast -

Rena is a Great cook as is every one I know in Great Bay)
