Wanda...I've appreciated your support from the start of this forum oddysey ...I'll post some more pics...but some are kinda repetitive, so I'll alter them to look like something else...gotta do bills and other peripheral stuff right now... if I can just break away from here! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70384-praying.gif[/img]...is there a support group for Jamaicaholics somewhere? [img]/forums/images/graemlins/70367-help.gif[/img] Please don't tell me this is it! My pattern now seems to include furious work around midnight, pacific daylight time [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]...I fear I may hit "bottom"...whole days are being lost and wasted here [img]/forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]...the bed of my truck has become a dumpster too embarrassing to drive anywhere, and I no longer care... Loving your pictures and words to the max, TD. So grateful you chose to share your experience here. Please...share whatever you have. I've been back 7 weeks now and I'm searching contantly for affordable airfare so I can return as soon as possible. In the meantime, I stay glued to this forum for my daily dose of Jamaica.

....this was the place where we slept...always had visitors cruising through in the morning...unsolicited words offered like "nothing to worry about, you'll be safe." After hearing it about 10,000 times I started to "lose it"...even with Steve...I think I said something like: "Do I even look like I'm worried, Jackass Mutha****?" ...or maybe it was just a thought. ...this is a photo taken at Negril at the end of our first day in Jamaica...the older tall guy here with the walking stick blew me away!...His posture was totally erect, he was "stately" to the point of being regal...When he was approaching, in his slow, even stride, I could see nothing but wisdom in his eyes....I nodded and without moving his head much, he raised his arm up...to a clenched fist...no thumb, then nodded,...not even breaking a stride...just a bare minimum of expended energy expressing more than any words....I felt like it would have been presumptuous to have engaged him in a conversation....I'd go back to Jamaica for that alone!..
