I'm think the Section-Buff Bay road is still washed out. These pictures are on TA (posted as part of a review of the Starlight hotel in the BMs) and were taken this summer:

Thanks a lot for this update. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/notworthy.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/graemlins/bannana_purple.gif[/img] These pictures look like the area just North of Section. It doesn't look like an easy fix either. And it's too bad that the most beautiful road in Jamaica can't be enjoyed in it's entirity.

So I gueess our options for the Kingston-Port Antonio route are again limited to the Junction Road, and the St. Thomas way. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif[/img]

As of last month still washed out. But it's just one place North of Section. So you can use to road the rest of the way, just can't drive thru from Buff Bay to Kingston unfortunately. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Thats a great drive we used to do that drive every other weekend to Santa Cruz - lovely country side!

It sure is! I make it a point to do the Negril-Kingston drive every summer, and a trip up to Portland if possible. I enjoy it. [img]/forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
