Re: Flashbacks From The Fine Art of Sitting orrrrrrrrrrrrr
I'm glad to see pics of Country Country and to hear your positive words. WE'll stay there in just four weeks! My goal is to practice the fine art of sitting, too but Pelican Bar has been calling to me, now I HAVE to go. Thanks, great trip report and pics!
big difference at the Treehouse from my previous trips. You can actually walk in the sand down that way now...and not have to traipse through the bar. I have to say as well....that the all-inclusives seem to be winning the minds of travelers over. We walked down past the Treehouse to the spot where Beaches and Couple Swept Away were. The place was mobbed with people. yuck. </div></div>
Yeah
Now that I'm no olonger running I could actually run the beach uninterrupted as I had always dreamed.. Dang it.
Re: Flashbacks From The Fine Art of Sitting orrrrrrrrrrrrr
no...the restaurant is no longer chinese schultz. it's more in line with what Seasplash offers. The dinner menu changes nightly and they offer only 4-5 dishes to choose from. Usually one beef, one pork, one pasta and a couple fish dishes. Presentation is lovely...and the food is very good. We were going to try Norma's (AKA Seasplash) one night, but the offerings at Country Country were too appealing to pass up...

Glad i could offer you some encouragement pittypat...i think you'll love the place. And yes, Pelican Bar is just too unique to pass up. Try the lobster. One of the folks in our party did, and boy did that look good....and plentiful.

hmmmmmm...it's been a while since i've been to Seasplash...we looked at the menu tho...and it was mostly pasta dishes. They too, give a beautiful presentation tho...from what i remember.
i'd choose Country Country for the wider variety i think.
