Leaving on a jet plane

The last day is always quiet and difficult.

I returned from the convenience store to find one of my young friends motioning his arms like an airplane asking if I was getting ready to leave. Could he have not done that [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img] I waved bye, sucking up the tears, turned away from his direction and whimpered all the way to my room [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img] [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img].

I took pictures of my room and of my door tag, which brought more tears. One day, I made my own door tag after we exchanged the hotel issued ones between rooms. All the really funny moments made me sad to leave

The last minute

I joined the others in the front to check out. We still had some time left so I did a final walk down the Boulevard to say goodbye to my friend at another hotel. I took pictures on the way back to Seasplash

The weather was overcast and rather solemn out, it was the same feel on the van.

I knew leaving was hard for Roe, the rest of us were ripped inside as well.

Our driver took a detour and got us there in time [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/frown.gif[/img] Darn!

Leaving Jamaica is always soooooo sad and emotional for me. My last trip, I thought I had my emotions under control until the driver closed the trunk after putting in my suitcase. The tears start flowing like a floodgate had been open and to make matters worse I started to sob out loud like the man had just slammed my hand in the door. [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img]

You should have seen the look on the drivers face. Asking me what is wrong? What happen? Each departure tears me up, but, still at different times, always catching me off guard. Darn, I get sad just thinking about it. Those pictures looking at the back of the drivers head brought back memories.
