By the time we got there that day, there were no police around the place. Walked around inside a little bit, then went across the road for peanut porridge and to wait for the show to start.

You think Murphy's Hill is cold, you should be at Nine Mile at 4am. FREEZING [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cry.gif[/img] I couldn't even have rum to warm me up b/c I was scared to use the bathroom. The bathroom (and I use this term loosely) consisted of 2 rooms. One had no toilet, just a shower, and the other had no door and what I assume was a toilet. There was no light in there, so my friend stood in front of the door while I used the cellie to light up the facilities [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/70394-bawlout.gif[/img] By 4 am I went to the car and blasted the heater (never thought I would say that when in Ja). Jah Cure and Elephant Man were no shows, and I heard that Jr. Gong and Stephen showed up much later. We left at 4am and headed to Negril by way of Mobay.

On our way back we saw a police car pulled over on the side of the road......and a farmer with several sacks of cabbage...and three or four police personnel throwing the contents of those sacks into the trunk of their car.....one of the cops was nice enough to smile and wave as we drove by......

I thought Junior might wet his pants when I jokingly suggested I should have gotten a picture.....
