One of the girls pictured above referred to us as "the tourists".

I explained to her that we are not tourists, we are visitors...the difference being that tourists come to see what they think they're supposed to see, and visitors just come to see.

She nodded in agreement....

I had this experience last trip - I had always had friends complain that it got cold in JA - to which I laughed that they don't know cold. However, will never do that again after spending the night in the Mountains of St. Elizabeth for Rebel Salute - We FROZE FROZE FROZE - of course, I found a man selling sweatshirts After the sun came up and it was warm again, lol
