Treasure Beach villas

I may be headed to TB in November with a large group of friends, we need 6+ bedrooms.

In the running at this time:

Sparkling Waters (first choice right now)

Rainbow Tree + Rainbow Point (they are a 10 minute walk from each other so not ideal)

Unforgettable (only does AI so not first choice either)

Any we missed? Any opinions?

AC in bedrooms and a pool is a requirement (not mine, but one nonetheless).

Lyric has 4 bedrooms...3 with double beds....but no AC.

Stick the AC lovers over at Sunset Resort...it's right next door.

Unfortunately the AC lovers outnumber the non...i think the nons are, well, me. And I may help these guys get a place and then stay solo and visit them [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/smile.gif[/img]

Hey there....so jealous of your trip! I stayed at Sparkling waters a few years back and it was wonderful....great food...sweet location with a totally seculded beach...pool, ac and hot tub. The only issue for us was how far it was from Jakes and the rest of the TB "action" - which is as low key as it gets. If you're going with a group already...then you should be fine.

Can't think of any other places that would work for you....Lyric and Doubloon are right next to each other both have pools but Lyric has no AC....Doubloon is FABULOUS though...

Hikaru is beautiful but I don't think they have AC.

I believe that Blue Marlin and Coquina have AC now. They are on the nicest beach in the area.

I don't know about Rainbow (or is it Raunbow tree?)

Thanks all. Rainbow has only 5 bedrooms and Rainbow Point is not next to it so those are out.

If Blue Marlin and Coquina have AC they'd be perfect, Great Bay would be my choice beach-wise...I better ask.

Goddess, did you like the beach at Sparkling Waters? Was it swimmable?

The water was totally swimmable...but keep in mind I stayed there before the last big hurricane....sparkling waters lost one of their houses in that one and it did change the land a bit.

We went back up there a year ago on the beach and I still remember a nice little protected cove.

We actually booked it for a trip before, right after Ivan. Our villas got swept away so we moved to the east coast. Been trying to get back to TB ever since [img]/forums/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/wink.gif[/img]

Has anyone seen the new villa on the water at Sparkling Waters? The one that is new since Ivan?

We are renting all 3, it appears, and wondering how far that new one is from the others, apparently it's not RIGHT there.

There's two new villas that are right next to each other and share a pool...then next door is the remaining original villa with pool and hot tub...the other one washed away. You'll be fine they are all close.

Since this is a TB trip, I know I need to get to Guts River (passed it too many times!) and back to Little Ochi and around Alligator Pond and maybe even to Milk River...
