In our experience, we have found most MATERNAL lineages of "Black" people around the world are African. About 2-3% of the time, we find Native American maternal lineages.

For PATERNAL lineages of "Black" people, we find African lineages 70% of the time and European lineages the rest of the time.

What is the most "common" country that you trace our roots to?

Yes. We would be able to trace each blood line provided that we have DNA from a person living today that shares the lineage you want to trace.

Yes. We have Berber lineages in our database.

Great to heave you here. Have you had any experience with tracing Caribbean lineage DNA to Africa for any clients? If so what is the most common part of the continent that you have traced their roots to?

First let me say that the majority of our searches to date have been for "African-Americans". We've only had a few West Indian people take advantage of our tests so far.

Sierra Leone and Nigeria seem to be the more common countries right now.

Yes. Each lineage is a separate test. The cost is $349 US per test. If you order more than one test at the same time, each test is $329 US. We also have group discounts for larger quantities. You would have to contact me directly.

We have traced Caribbean lineages. There hasn't been any identifiable trend yet. We've seen Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Spain, among others

Recently, i was viewing a segment on one of the network news magazines that featured a Black man that was not Black.

He was raised thinking he was Black and being treated as if he were Black. Of swarthy complexion as old-timers would say, and having curly black hair, he had no reason to doubt his ancestry - until he took a test that sounds a lot like yours.

¿How often do you run across clients finding out that they do not have ANY African bloodlines?
