Lady in Waiting

Has anyone else read this book? Do you own a copy? Let's talk about it together if you do? It was recommended to me by a friend [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] I've only read the first chapter thus far and it seems to promise great nuggets of truth throughout the entire book.

Man that was so good, I've got to copy it and email it to my wife. Why you ladies seem to have all the good stuff? Gotta check into this book too! Marriage can always do with some Jesus to spice it up.

(((((SistaB)))))) There is one part in Chapter 1 that speaks about the fact that Ruth had to leave her "old friends" so to speak, and surround herself with "new friends"....Many people that we surround ourselves with may or may not be an asset to our spiritual walk with God. Some (Christians and non Christians alike) may not understand the passion or the need to want more from God.

Page 17: "Be careful if you spend most of your free time with a girlfriend who does not share your commitment to Jesus. It can affect your relationship with the Lord. If a non-Christian or a lukewarm Christian influences you rather than you influencing them, you may be headed for serious trouble. You mirror those who influence you. "

I haven't read this as yet, but it sounds timely and really interesting [img]/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] . If my sister won't purchase it for me, then I'll definitely get a copy at the end of the month.
