Been offline a while due to work schedule. This information may or may not be outdated, but just in case:

1) Click on this site for news about the hotel/guest properties both beach and west end.

2) Spoke today finally from Flathead or Ed in Red Ground. Seems as if lots of trees down, some flooding, but people okay. Of course, no electricity. People are charging their phones from people's personal generators who are charging 100J each charge. I guess that is better than no phone communication, but over time can get costly for folks as power continues off.

MiYard is charging $50J for a cel phone charge....Delroy has a generator....big up Delroy!!!

thank you so much for that link. It was extremely helpful. I spoke to Swept Away yesterday and was told no damage to the buildings, but the landscaping is destroyed, which pretty much agrees with this report.

Just got through again....talked to Cudge. Jodi, he says to assure you the is OK...he said you wouldn't believe me, but he is! He will try to call you when he can. Someone nearby has solar, so they are able to charge the phones. He said the water situation is not too bad yet. Uuuummm. Trying to think....his house (the one he has been building) is damaged badly...a number of people's are....Leone his cousin is okay, for whoever was asking about that....George's/Verna's place is okay...lots of damage to Coconuts, Sams...some others, Merr lost her shop but her house is okay. He reiterated that Lando is okay. Homer's cove is no moreAnette got my voicemail, so that is good to know they are going through. He has not been up to Negril yet, but he reiterated what we know, no beach, Rick's gone etc....I know that there was someone else that was looking to get info on someone but I could not find it while I was speaking to him. If you read this, and want to find out, if you haven't, post or PM me. I will be trying to find out some info on people they are worried about in the Caymans, so I will be calling back. Peace.

Good Day to you all. I am leaving in the morning for the trip to Little Bay. I have things that the people are needing and things for those along the road from homers cove to brighton that have lost everything. I thank you Green Biscut for the wonderful boxes of things that you sent me to help with this relief. I ask all of you to start to think about the next step now that we know that everyone is alive and well. That step would be to get the things that the people need to them asap. I have found a man named Sterling in the chicago area that ships barrels for $125.00 US for the entire shipping cost. If anyone knows of something less expensive please get in touch with me at [email protected] I will be in Little Bay for the next month and will be trying to check emails as often as I can in Negril. Thank Jah that there was no loss of life and now the clean up and the rebuilding begins. I live in homers cove and we have a bed and breakfast there that was just starting to do buisness. Seems we have the task of making a road to get to our place, I do it joyfully and with an open heart. I am blessed to have that home still standing. Steve from Coral Cove and I are going to make two huge pots of soup and all they have to do is bring a cup to eat. I asked him if he had the pots to cook it in and he said...nooo and at once I said GEORGIE DOES and he said....SAM DOES!!!! Smiling here, it soon be better mon. Jah Guidance and Bless, Sandysan
