I'm still gonna worry about Sam till I hear something, it dosen't sound good for his place though if there is talk of damage. His place is right next to the seaside. Dyam. Time to go back to prayin, I'll be back in the morning...

I just spoke to Power 106, myself (and sent messages over the air for the peeps for whom I have names). I was told that it was true that Little Bay was hit rather hard.

If I hear anything else, I'll be sure to post.

so glad you got through....were you calling a digicel phone? didn't think anyone had c&w out there....so glad your friends are okay, but it's a shame about his house....i'm heading down there 10/14....kinda dreading what i'm gonna find this trip.

Thanks Jaith, me too. I assume it is Digicell, as every cell I have been trying had gone immediately to busy....couldn't believe I got through. Oh, the tears are coming....

Spoke with my grandmother via landline last night. She lives in Geneva area, of Grange Hill. Several houses lost their roof. One house a two room structure was split in two. Her original wooden house lost half it's roof and two back doors were blown off. There is no damage to her concrete house with decked roof. She is housing a lot of the neighbours some whom are sick and elderly. Still no electricity, they are using candles and kerosene lamp. The canefields are flattened and the pipe water looks like mud. There was no rain last night, but the wind was very strong. They are happy to be alive and working as a team to get through this.

Everybaddy, I've been trying to reach JA since avout 7:30 this morning, with NO success at all! [img]/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Dianavision, got your enail, and I'm working on things.

I am soon packin up computer and phone to go down to South Jersey (visiting friends, but I hope to get phone line to JA down there, too). Once there (2 hour drive south), I will get back online and on the phone and keep trying.

Haven't been able to get Marie on the phone, yet, either. But I will keep trying.

I did get email from Power 106, but Green-B knows about her peeps already.
