Ground is to be broken on Thursday for the construction of a new private power plant in the Corporate Area.It will be based on Industrial Terrace.West Kingston Power Partners (WKPP) is an affiliate of Jamaica Energy Partners.The plant will provide 66 mega watts of power thereby improving the country's generating capacity in the medium term.Prime Minister Bruce Golding is scheduled to break ground for the plant at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
