A member of the Jamaica Constabulary Force who was involved in the police/military operation which led to the controversial killing of chartered accountant, Keith Clarke, was questioned on Thursday. This was disclosed by Terrence Williams, head of the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM), who says he is hoping to submit a file to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) early next year."Today, we interviewed the commanding officer who was in charge of the operation that led to the fatal shooting of Mr. Clarke. I think we have now interviewed five members of the security forces who were part of that operation, we have set aside quite a few days next week with the hope that we can complete the interview portion of the investigation. After we complete the interview portion, we will finalise the forensic evidence and when we get all that done, we will have a file ready to go the DPP," said Mr. Williams.Mr. Clarke, the brother of former Government Minister, Claude Clarke, was killed at his Kirkland Heights, St. Andrew home in May by members of a military special-forces team, during the manhunt for Tivoli Gardens strongman, Christopher "Dudus" Coke. The Special Team was reportedly acting on intelligence that gunmen from West Kingston were in the house.
