With three days remaining in 2010, RJR News understands that there is to be a major shake-up in the upper ranks of the Jamaica Constabulary Force for the start of the new year. More than 80 police officers are expected to be transferred in the coming week, as the Commissioner implements a new crime plan for 2011.Police Commissioner Owen Ellington is to inform the senior officers of the changes at a meeting scheduled for tomorrow morning at nine at the Police Officers Club in St Andrew.Sources say changes will be implemented in several divisions, including St. James and the St. Catherine South Police.Superintendent Merrick Watson currently heads the St. James Police Division and Superintendent Anthony Powell heads the St. Catherine South Police which includes Portmore.
