The National Works Agency (NWA) is advising motorists that Mannings Hill Road and Havendale Drive in St. Andrew, Jamaica will be reduced to single lane usage on Sunday. The new arrangement will be in effect between 9 o'clock in the morning and 5 o'clock in the afternoon. The NWA says the reduction to single lane traffic will facilitate repairs along both roadways. It says micro surfacing works will be carried out along Mannings Hill Road between Constant Spring Road and Old Gate Road and along Havendale Drive. Surfacing of the roadways will be done on one lane at a time to ensure traffic flow will be maintained. However motorists travelling towards or from the direction of Havendale may use the alternative route along Red Hills Road and the Meadowbrook main road. Motorists are advised to obey posted warning signs and the instructions of flag persons.
