Resident Magistrate Annmarie Nembhard ruled on Tuesday afternoon that former government Minister Roger Clarke will face no charges for his role in a fatal collision last year.Mr. Clarke was charged with causing death by dangerous driving, arising from his involvement in a fatal motor vehicle crash in August last year.The Magistrate ruled that there was no evidence that suggests Mr. Clarke should go on trial.This comes after a preliminary hearing into the death of Derron Nicholson.Mr. Nicholson, a St. Catherine resident, died on August 23 when a Toyota Prado Land Cruiser Mr. Clarke was driving collided with his motorbike along the Nightingale Grove Road in St. Catherine.Mr. Clarke was heading towards Spanish Town, when he reportedly swerved his vehicle to the right hand section of the road and hit the motor bike.Mr. Nicholson was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
