The Public Defender Earl Witter has called a press conference for this afternoon to discuss concerns he has about the Commission of Enquiry into the events leading to the extradition of former West Kingston don Christopher 'Dudus' Coke. Witter, who has been speaking on the behalf of Tivoli Gardens residents since the May incursion, was notably absent from yesterday's proceedings at the Jamaica Conference Centre. The public Defender told our newscentre a short while ago that he will also address the issue of missing persons, police killings, compensation to residents and the comparisons of ballistic tests which should begin soon. However, Spokesperson for Campaign for Social and Economic Justice, Lloyd D'Aguilar said his group will be pushing for the investigation into the Dudus affair to be brought before the International Criminal Court. The Commission of Enquiry has been adjourned until Thursday.
