Prime Minister of Jamaica Bruce Golding says he would not have any objection to appearing before the Commission of Enquiry looking into the events leading to the extradition of Christopher 'Dudus' Coke, if he is asked to do so. The Prime Minister was responding to questions from journalists during a tour of the new MRI unit at the Kingston Public Hospital today. It was Golding who announced in Parliament in October that a Commission of Enquiry would be set up to hear testimony into the handling of the extradition request for alleged west Kingston strongman Christopher Dudus Coke. His announcement came after sections of the society called for a Commission of Enquiry into the Dudus extradition request after Prime Minister Golding disclosed that he, as leader of the JLP, sanctioned the hiring of US law firm Manatt, Phelps and Phillips to lobby the Obama administration in the extradition matter.
