A trade union leader is calling on Finance Minister Audley Shaw to name and shame high income earners who have avoided a special tax measure which was implemented last year.Prime Minister Bruce Golding had announced that employees who earn in excess of $5 million annually would be required to pay more income tax. However, Finance Minister, Audley Shaw, told Parliament last week that some employers have found creative ways to beat the system.President-General of the Bustamante Industrial Trade Union, Kavan Gayle, says it is time for these tax dodgers to be exposed.Mr. Gayle said every effort must also be made to recover the amounts they have avoided paying.
