Manatt/Dudus Commissioners (L-R) Anthony Irons, Emil George Q.C. and Donald Scharschmidt. The Manatt/Dudus Commission of Enquiry is expected to be hit by further delays in witness testimony.Less than 24 hours after attorneys were provided with a list of the dates on which it is expected that several key pieces of testimony are to be presented, that list now has to be revised. It emerged during Tuesday's sitting of the Commission that at least two main players, Attorney General and Minister of Justice Senator Dorothy Lightbourne and Solicitor General Douglas Leys are ill.Counsel for Senator Lightbourne, Dr. Lloyd Barnett Q.C, revealed that his client had lost her voice, and as a result, would not be able to appear for Wednesday's scheduled testimony.Mr. Leys has been hit by the flu and was absent from Tuesday's scheduled testimony. In the meantime, Wednesday's scheduled testimony by Dr. Ronald Robinson, former State Minister in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also hit a snag.Patrick Bailey, who represents Dr. Robinson, told Commissioners that his client, who lives overseas, is due in Jamaica on Friday and will therefore; only be available to testify on Monday.Dr. Barnett also hinted at a Monday appearance by Senator Lightbourne. As a result of the setbacks, the Commission is expected to make another adjustment to the list. This means that the Commission may now have to revisit the schedule for Prime Minister Golding, who was down to give evidence on Monday, as well as the scheduled date for a number of other key witnesses.http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fb...75146252528604
