he National Water Commission (NWC) says it will start implementing water restrictions in the Corporate Area starting Saturday, February 5.In a release Friday evening, the NWC said falling water levels in the Hermitage Dam, have forced it to revise the schedule for water distribution from the Constant Spring Treatment Plant.The NWC says as of Saturday, water will only be supplied from that plant for 16 hours each day.The release further added that depending on elevation and location, some of its customers in the Corporate Area will either have no or low water pressure from eight in the evening to four the following morning.Areas which will be affected by the water restrictions include: Manor Park AllerdyceStillwell Rd Liguanea ClubNorbrook HavendaleGraham HeightsBarbicanHughenden Russell HeightsMannings Hill Rd Constant Spring Rd Eastwood Park GardensShortwood RoadMolynes Road Moreton Park Cherry GardensAylshamArcadia Jacks HillSmokey Vale Cassia Park Red Hills RoadArmour Heights Liguanea ClubConstant Spring GardensMeadowbrookGrants Pen Road Charlton Road Half Way Tree RoadStony Hill Sherbourne HeightsWireless Station Road Diamond RoadKingswood Ursa MajorBelgrade HeightsWest MeadeKingswood HavendaleMeadowbrook Forrest Hills GardensChancery Hall HeightsThe NWC is urging persons in these areas store water for the periods of disruption and also, to conserve water to avoid the need for further modifications to the water restriction measures.
